Automatic passenger boarding bridge docking system
A method and apparatus for automatically aligning and connecting a passenger boarding bridge (PBB) with the passenger door of an aircraft or other vessel. A sensory suite module includes cameras and sensors to scan the apron for obstacles and identify an aircraft based on external features. The sensory suite module also includes one or more high-precision active laser line profilers to detect the vertical and lower edges of an aircraft door. A controller module provides precise control and movement of the distal end of the PBB and guides the distal end of the PBB to the passenger door. The system can be activated by a remote triggering panel module.

Reinforcement system and method for corrugated plate structures
A corrugated plate structure includes a plurality of corrugated plates connected together to form a corrugated structure having a corrugation direction and a cross-corrugation direction. A reinforcement system includes: a first bracket and a second bracket, where the first bracket extends substantially parallel to the cross-corrugation direction and mounted to side-by-side first and second corrugation crests so as to pass over a corrugation valley that joins the first and second corrugation crest, and where the second bracket is spaced in the corrugation direction from the first bracket, and the second bracket extends substantially parallel to the cross-corrugation direction and mounted to the first and second corrugation crests so as to pass over the corrugation valley. An elongated reinforcing member extends substantially parallel to the corrugation direction and mounted to both the first bracket and the second bracket.

ELEVATED GUIDEWAY WITH PROPULSION DUCT FOR PNEUMATIC TRANSPORT
An elevated guideway performing the function of supporting, guiding and propelling pneumatic transport vehicles for passengers and loads. The two-part elevated guideway is formed by two components, each corresponding to one side of the cross section, divided by a vertical axis passing through the center of the slot. Components are not symmetrical, the left hand component having a wider top table. Components are joined through a niche already present at the lower slabs which is filled with a structural resin. Niche for joining the two-part elevated guideway has a central type female-female fitting. The elevated guideway includes guideway guards, two additions for installing the propulsion duct slot seal, tubes for the electric power supply and telecommunication and control cables, the protective railing for protection in the side emergency gangway, the unit for securing the rail via the web thereof, rails and the third and fourth electric power supply rails of the vehicle. The two-part elevated guideway may have, combined on the same beam of the propulsion duct, a secondary propulsion duct, thereby forming a single, non-separable structure.
Modular platform deck for traffic
A modular assembly and method of installing a modular assembly is provided. The modular assembly can include a plurality of base members made of a plastic material, each base member including a top surface and a bottom surface opposite of the top surface, the bottom surface defining channels. A plurality of support members can be provided, each of the plurality of support members may extend across the plurality of base members and disposed within the channels of the plurality of base members. A mounting bracket can be configured to mount each of the plurality of support members to a metal plate of a lower support structure, the metal plate being received by a clamp of the mounting bracket. Each of the plurality of base members can adjoin one another to form a horizontal platform for traffic.
BRIDGE GIRDER WITH HIGH CENTRAL-WALL-BEAM
A girder bridge structure with a tall and narrow central-wall-beam that separates two lanes of opposite traffic, lower parapets on each side of the bridge, open bridge decks with optional heated strips, self-driving reference guides, and electric live rails for maximizing the structural efficiency of the strength-mass and stiffness-mass ratios with the tall and narrow central-wall-beam; making the girder bridge lighter; increasing wind-resistance; providing a safer ride to vehicles; lowering the deck height of the bridge; providing reliable self-driving; reducing interference to traffic at ground level; reducing maintenance; improving the aesthetic look of the structure.
Modular building construction using composite interconnected frame panels
A building module for use in construction of a structure incorporating a plurality of said modules which together form at least part of the structure. Each building module comprises a first peripheral frame of a first size defining a space which receives a layer of barrier material, a second peripheral frame of a second size defining a space which receives a layer of barrier material and which is joined at a first junction to the first peripheral frame of the first size in abutting end to end relationship to form a first auxiliary module. A third peripheral frame has the same size as the first peripheral frame and which defines a space which receives a layer of barrier material. A fourth peripheral frame has the same size as the second peripheral frame and which defines a space which receives a layer of barrier material and which is joined at a second junction to the third peripheral frame of the first size in abutting end to end relationship to form a second auxiliary module. The first and second auxiliary modules are attached side by side to form said building module; wherein the first and second auxiliary modules are attached to each other so that the first and second junctions are staggered along the length of the structure.
