GANGWAY HAVING POSITION LOCKING ASSEMBLY
A gangway comprising a fixed platform. A support structure is connected to the fixed platform in a manner that allows the support structure to rotate with respect to the fixed platform. A releasable position locking assembly that inhibits rotation of the support structure in a raising direction is also provided. The releasable locking assembly includes a closed-loop fluid arrangement.

Displacement detecting device for structural object, sharing system of displacement of structural object, and method and program of detecting displacement of structural object
A displacement detecting device for a structural object is capable of accurately measuring displacement of the structural object. The displacement detecting device includes first and second attitude data calculators, a data extractor, and a displacement calculator. The first attitude data calculator calculates attitude data at a first position by using received positioning signals, and calculates a calculated time point of the attitude data of the first position based on a time of a positioning system. The second attitude data calculator calculates attitude data at a second position by using received positioning signals, and calculates a calculated time point of the attitude data of the second position based on the time of the positioning system. The displacement calculator calculates a displacement amount and a displacement direction of the structural object by using a difference between the attitude data of the first and second positions calculated at the same time point.

Composite bridge deck and bridge construction
A bridge construction having a bridge support or abutment and a bridge deck supported thereon. The bridge deck includes a composite panel with a top plastic skin, a bottom plastic skin and a core arranged between and attached to the plastic skins. The bridge deck also includes an edge beam extending along at least one edge of the composite panel and resting on the bridge support. The top plastic skin has a protruding part which protrudes laterally relative to the core and the bottom plastic skin. The protruding part of the top plastic skin extends over and is attached to a top side of the edge beam, and both the core and the lower plastic skin extend laterally up to a front side of the edge beam.
METAL FOUNDATION SYSTEM FOR CULVERTS, BURIED BRIDGES AND OTHER STRUCTURES
A bridge system is provided that utilizes foundation structures that are formed of the combination of a metal-frame structure and cast-in-place concrete.

Device for damping vibrations of a bridge
A damping device for damping vibrations of a bridge with a bridge deck comprises at least one damping wing comprising a center and configured to dampen vibrations of the bridge. A longitudinal direction of the at least one damping wing is disposed parallel to a longitudinal direction of the bridge deck and the at least one damping wing is stationary upon wind acting on the bridge in a given direction. At least one support structure is laterally attached to at least one side of the bridge deck and configured to attach the at least one damping wing to the bridge deck such that the at least one damping wing is disposed with a lateral offset from an outer edge of the bridge deck facing the at least one damping wing.

Cushioning mechanism
The invention provides a cushioning mechanism comprising a base, an equal-width cam mechanism, a limiting bracket, a ball screw, two groups of energy dissipaters and energy dissipater fixing bases, wherein the equal-width cam mechanism, the limiting bracket, the ball screw, the two groups of energy dissipaters and the energy dissipater fixing bases are mounted on the base. The equal-width cam mechanism comprises a quadrilateral frame and a cam mounted in the quadrilateral frame. The cam is connected with a nut of the ball screw. The two groups of energy dissipaters are mounted on the energy dissipater fixing bases on the two sides of the equal-width cam mechanism separately. The ends, away from the energy dissipater fixing bases, of the two groups of energy dissipaters are connected with the two sides of the quadrilateral frame separately. The invention is low in manufacturing cost and good in buffering and limiting effect.
