An electrical power generating apparatus for generating electrical power using a generator connected directly or indirectly to a flywheel is disclosed. The apparatus comprises platforms, protrusions, generators, flywheels and other components. The platforms are configured to be laid on a surface and easily allow an object, e.g., a vehicle to traverse over the platforms. Each protrusion is configured to move downward and upward through apertures located in a top portion of the platform. The protrusions interact with reset members. The protrusions move in a linear/angle downward/downward-upward motion when the object pushes/strikes/depresses the protrusions. Each protrusion is connected in an operative manner to a shaft via a gear, and/or to a lever which is connected in an operative manner to shaft, thereby rotating the shaft by converting linear motion to rotational motion. A generator, flywheel, and gearbox can be coupled to the shaft.

A dynamic wireless power transfer system performs, through a plurality of primary coils installed along a traveling direction of a road and a secondary coil mounted in a vehicle, power transfer to the vehicle while the vehicle is traveling. The secondary coil is an M-phase coil including M coils, M denoting an integer which is two or higher. The M coils each include a coil end extending along a front-rear direction of the vehicle and a main coil portion extending along a width direction of the vehicle, the M coils each being configured such that a magnetic resistance of a magnetic path where a magnetic flux of the coil end passes is higher than a magnetic resistance of a magnetic path where a magnetic flux of the main coil portion passes.

DYNAMIC WIRELESS POWER TRANSFER SYSTEM

A dynamic wireless power transfer system performs, through a plurality of primary coils installed along a traveling direction of a road and a secondary coil mounted in a vehicle, power transfer to the vehicle while the vehicle is traveling. The secondary coil is an M-phase coil including M coils, M denoting an integer which is two or higher. The M coils each include a coil end extending along a front-rear direction of the vehicle and a main coil portion extending along a width direction of the vehicle, the M coils each being configured such that a magnetic resistance of a magnetic path where a magnetic flux of the coil end passes is higher than a magnetic resistance of a magnetic path where a magnetic flux of the main coil portion passes.

Railway roadbed dformation detection and early warning system

A system for detecting and pre-warning railway roadbed deformation includes: a control box and an optical fiber-pressure sensor group. The optical fiber-pressure sensor group is formed by disposing a plurality of optical fiber-pressure sensors into a cuboid shape, and is buried in the railway roadbed for detecting magnitude of roadbed deformation in each direction. The direction of the deformation can be acknowledged easily, allowing the staff to eliminate potential risks purposefully. A time series prediction algorithm is performed to forecast a trend of the roadbed deformation in each direction, such that the staff may purposefully overhaul and correct the tracks where the roadbed is deformed excessively. At the same time, the staff may overhaul the track before the magnitude of the roadbed deformation reaches a predetermined value. Potential safety hazards may be eliminated in advance, ensuring the safety for the operation of the railroad.
