Jewelry and gem stone lighting apparatuses and systems including light emitting elements powered either by body heat or via external fields and methods for making and using same.

Provided is an article for securing a face mask including: a body that is formed of an elongated flexible, cord-like material of cloth, chain, leather, cord, or a combination thereof; a first end on the body, wherein the first end has a first attachment member that receives a first associated ear loop of an associated mask; a second end on the body, wherein the second end includes a second attachment member that receives a second associated ear loop of the associated mask; a first auxiliary strand that attaches to the body between 1 or about 1 and 10 or about 10 inches from the first end; a second auxiliary strand that attaches to the body between 1 or about 1 and 10 or about 10 inches from the second end; and an implement that mounts to the body between 1 or about 1 and 10 or about 10 inches from the first end or the second end.

An electronic wearable device is disclosed. The electronic wearable device includes a pendant attached to a necklace; the pendant comprising a base and a plurality of interchangeable faceplates; wherein each of the plurality of interchangeable faceplates has a different design and is configured to attach to the base to hide the base.

A jewellery keeper wearable by a person to securely hold jewellery items, the keeper including, a keeper body. A location is included on the keeper body adapted to receive one or more jewellery item thereon and a securing means including a lock device, to secure the jewellery on the keeper body, and lock it securely such that it cannot be released from the keeper body without operation of the lock device. The one or more items of jewellery are positioned on the keeper body and the lock device of the securing means locks the jewellery in place, so the jewellery is securely held on the keeper body and also held in an attractive presentation for wear by the person. The invention also relates to variants thereon and a methods of use.

A jewelry clip is provided for clipping onto an elongated member of a bracelet and/or necklace. The jewelry clip includes first and second parts connected by a hinge and being rotatable between open and closed states. The clip in the closed state is adapted for gripping the elongated member and in the open state is adapted for being released from the elongated member. At least one discrete spring biases the clip toward the closed state when the clip is in the open state. The clip has, in the closed state, a through hole. At least one of the first and second parts includes at least one resilient element defining at least part of an inner surface of the jewelry clip defining the through hole. When the clip is clipped onto the elongated member, the resilient element provides a frictional resistance against movement of the elongated member through the through hole.

A bracelet defined by an elongated band having first and second terminal end sections that collectively define a clasp and a plurality of interconnected sockets extending along the length of the band and in each of which a rigid shell is positioned. A pair of charms each having unique indicia, such as a letter, imprinted thereon can be removably and interchangeably positioned within each shell. As an example of use, multiple friends' initials can therefore be displayed with charms positioned within each or many of the plurality of sockets forming bracelet.

A convertible pendant is disclosed in which a link connects to a first ornament. The pendant may have a first configuration in which a second ornament is housed within the first ornament and a second configuration in which the second ornament is deployed from the first ornament. In either configuration, the second ornament may be connected to the first ornament so that the second ornament is not easily lost. In a third configuration, the first and second ornaments may be detached from the link. The different configurations provide a pendant that may be adapted to suit different occasions.

A navel retainer and related techniques are disclosed. The retainer may be configured to be deployed within a navel such that its body portion interfaces with tissue therein. In some embodiments, the retainer may include an adjustment mechanism configured to expand and collapse the size and, optionally, geometry of the body portion. In some embodiments, the retainer may be a resilient element, allowing it to be temporarily compressed and subsequently allowed to expand in size, in some cases also optionally changing its geometry. In either manner, the retainer may be adjusted in size and/or geometry to buttress the tissue of the navel, minimizing or otherwise reducing opportunity for navel contracture during a healing process. After a desired navel size and shape are achieved, a separate maintenance device optionally may be deployed within the navel. The retainer optionally may be configured to host or otherwise serve as a navel adornment.

The present invention generally relates to an illuminatable jewelry system having a jewelry element containing a controllable light source. By way of example, the jewelry element may be transparent or translucent. The jewelry may also have other types of decorative elements attached to a length of conductive jewelry wire. A power cell having a solar cell, an energy harvesting circuit and a rechargeable battery are in electronic communication with the light source. Magnetic connectors permit the illuminatable jewelry system to be worn and operate to complete an electrical circuit between the power cell and the light source.

A light-emitting jewelry piece includes a gemstone, a head, and a mounting. The head is configured to interconnect the gemstone to the mounting. The mounting is arranged to secure the light-emitting jewelry piece to a person or a personal adornment.
