Systems and methods are described for playing a game using a gestural gaming device. In an embodiment, the gestural gaming device includes a processor, a sensor, a communications transceiver, and a plurality of lighting elements. An application may be executed on a mobile device in communication with the gestural gaming device via the communications transceiver. The system may also include a back-end server in communication with the application over a network. The game may be played using the gestural gaming device in conjunction with one or more gestures, the game being managed by the application using the plurality of lighting elements. A winner of the game may be awarded a reward in response to winning the game from the back-end server via the gestural gaming device.

A particular apparatus includes a first electronic component, a second electronic component, and a connecting element that is detachably connectable to the first electronic component and to the second electronic component. The first electronic component is connectable via the connecting element to the second electronic component to form a wearable item. The first electronic component includes a camera, the second electronic component includes an energy storage component, and the first electronic component is configured to receive power from the second electronic component via the connecting element.

A wearable power source system is provided. The wearable power source system embodies a wearable power assembly having a wearable adapted to retain a power source, and a tool adapted to be powered by the retained power source. An electrical connection may connect the tool to the power source. A user may don the wearable power assembly, whereby a tool's power source is worn by its user, making handling the tool less of a burden. Wearable electronic apparatus providing sensory feedback is provided. The wearable electronic apparatus has master beads that can power slave beads. The beads have electronic circuitry enabling visual, auditory or haptic feedback to be initiated by the master beads. Master beads of one unit of a wearable electronic apparatus communicate with master beads of another unit of another apparatus. In the presence or proximity of an authorized apparatus, the master bead causes the slave beads to provide a user with sensory feedback.

An ornamental component for a bracelet and/or necklace includes a housing with a channel passing therethrough for supporting an elongate member. A single slot is within the housing for the elongate member to gain access to and from the channel.
