A frozen precipitation treatment system in the form of a spreader assembly may be used with a video monitoring system. The operator within a vehicle passenger compartment may manually view a display screen to see video images within the hopper to visually assess the amount of frozen precipitation treatment material within the hopper in real time.

Autonomous snow removal machine
20240209579 · 2024-06-27 ·

This invention relates to an autonomous snow removal machine for residential use. The machine is created by converting a manually operated snowblower to electric operation using motors, sensors, and a small computer. Key functions like wheel movement, chute control, and auger engagement are now powered by electric motors, while the auger rotation remains driven by the original gas engine or electric motor. Onboard sensors provide data to the control computer, enabling autonomous snow clearing within a defined area. The user interacts with the machine through a smartphone application to define the clearing zone and initiate the autonomous process. The machine can be operated manually when required by disengaging the clutch mechanism at the wheels and other electric motors.

PARTICULATE MATERIAL DISTRIBUTION APPARATUS AND METHOD

An apparatus for distributing particulate material has a plurality of independently weighed hoppers from which particulate materials are metered into a common collector and distributed to the environment with a common venture air system. Metering devices associated with at least two of the hoppers may be oriented in a face-to-face configuration.

Motorized material broadcast spreader apparatus

A powered material broadcast spreader apparatus. The apparatus may include a granular material hopper having one or more upwardly extending walls that partially enclose an interior volume of the hopper. A first wall may define an opening passing outwardly from the interior volume. The apparatus may also include a motor surrounded by the one or more walls, and a motor cover having a contact surface congruent with a mating inner surface of the first wall. The motor cover is configured to form a motor compartment adapted to effectively isolate the motor from the interior volume, while permitting access to the motor from outside the hopper via the opening in the first wall.

System and method for adjusting torque distribution

A system and method herein relate to vehicle control by adjusting a torque distribution of the vehicle. The system includes a first motor configured to provide a torque to a first wheel, and a delivery system configured to controllably apply a traction control compound to a route on which the first wheel is configured to travel. The system also includes a controller circuit having one or more processors. The controller circuit is configured to control the delivery system to apply the traction control compound to the route based on a monitored temperature of the first motor.

Automatic treatment material spreader
