Mixed turf
Provided is a mixed turf arranged on a soil and including: a synthetic turf, natural grass arranged in the synthetic turf, said synthetic turf including: synthetic filaments suitable to simulate grass blades and a backing consisting of a membrane suitable to support the synthetic filaments, the backing being further as a whole substantially draining, enabling transpiration and permitting the passage therethrough of the roots of said natural grass and which is non-biodegradable.
Apparatus, system, and method for providing drainage of a surface layer
A drainage assembly is disclosed. The drainage assembly has a subgrade material having a bottom surface and at least one side surface that forms an angle with the bottom surface, a first layer of a first material disposed on the bottom surface and the at least one side surface, a passage disposed on or in the first layer, and a second layer of a second material disposed above the passage and the first layer. The first material is coarser than the second material. An angle of repose of the second material is equal to or steeper than the angle.
Modular stormwater retention system
A modular fluid retention system and method for exemplary uses collecting and temporarily retaining fluids, for example stormwater run-off. One example of the system includes a plurality of modular retaining units which are selectively connected together to form an interior chamber volume for collecting stormwater run-off directed into the chamber volume. A plurality of modular trays are engaged with portions of the respective retention units to prevent relative movement of the retention units and eliminate, or substantially reduce, the need for porous material to be installed in and around the retention units greatly increasing the excavation void space usable for water collection and retention. In an alternate application, only a plurality of modular trays are used as the vertical support and fluid retention volume structure for the fluid retention system.
Drainage System
A frac sand drainage system comprising a permeable top surface, a cellular confinement layer, a fabric coated geo-grid, one or more geotextile fabric layer, one or more sand layer, one more drainage blocks, and a watertight liner.
Module and method for managing water and other fluids
A method for managing the flow of water beneath a ground surface uses modules. Assemblies of such modules are disclosed. The modules include supports and a deck portion, and the supports are spaced apart and form multiple channels with a main section of the deck portion. The deck portion also includes at least one section extending from a main section.
FIELD DRAINAGE SYSTEM AND METHOD
A field drainage system includes mainline pipes or trunks, which are placed in trenches. Riser assemblies are mounted on the mainline pipes with saddles. The saddles include saddle bases placed on top of the mainline pipe and saddle inlet couplings which communicate with upwardly-open openings in the mainline pipe. The riser assemblies include transitions, which connect to the saddle inlet couplings, and riser extensions which extend upwardly from the riser assembly transitions. The riser transitions can be inverted for measuring cut off lengths of the riser transitions, using the field surface as a guide. Multiple apertures are formed in the riser extension for admitting groundwater for drainage.
In-ground trampoline system
An in-ground trampoline includes a plurality of walls designed to be connected together to act as a frame for the trampoline as well as act as a retaining wall for the hole the trampoline is located within. The walls are placed within the hole so a bounce mat of the trampoline is substantially flush with the ground. The walls receive springs that secure to the bounce mat and support the bounce mat at the appropriate height. The walls receive safety pads that will cover the upper edge of the walls and the springs for safety. The hole, interior to the walls, has a seepage pit formed therein for drainage. The hole may be deeper interior to the walls and the seepage pit may be located therewithin. The walls include lower platforms that extend outward and the lower platforms are backfilled over to provide support for the walls.

BASE FOR TURF SYSTEM WITH VERTICAL SUPPORT EXTENSIONS AT PANEL EDGES
An underlayment layer is configured to support an artificial turf assembly. The underlayment layer comprises plurality of panels, each panel comprising a core with a top side and a bottom side. The top side has a plurality of top projections. The top projections form top side water drainage channels. The panels have edges, with the edges of one panel abutting the edges of adjacent panels, thereby forming a drainage path between adjacent panels. The panel edges have vertical support extensions that extend into the drainage paths between adjacent panels. The vertical support extensions have an upper surface for supporting an artificial turf assembly overlying the turf underlayment layer, and the panel edges having one or more complementary indentations corresponding to vertical support extensions of adjacent panels. When the panels move toward each other, thereby closing drainage paths between adjacent panels, the vertical support extensions are received in the corresponding indentations.
