Drill head for a drilling device for creating drill holes in insufficiently stable foundation
10337253 · 2019-07-02 · ·

A drill head for a drilling device for making drill holes in insufficiently stable foundation by displacement of soil material has a base plate, with which the drill pipe end is detachably connected and is closable, on which base plate at least one drill head plate, oriented substantially perpendicular thereto, is placeable. Insertable in the lateral flanks is at least one curved plate, which is provided with first holding means, which are held in second holding means, which are attached on the lateral flanks of the drill head plate. The curved plate is designed in a way and is insertable in the flanks of the drill head plate such that its surfaces are effective as screw faces during the drilling process. The efficiency of the drilling can thereby be improved.

Roller Forms For Temporarily Supporting A New Slab Foundation
20190136480 · 2019-05-09 ·

An assembly supports a concrete slab foundation above a ground surface while being poured and hardened. The assembly includes forms, each of the forms having a frame. Lower rollers are mounted to each of the frames for rolling each of the forms onto the ground surface. Upper rollers are mounted to each of the frames at an elevation above the lower rollers. Upper decks are placed on top of the upper rollers. Each of the upper decks has an upper surface configured to receive the concrete while being poured and hardened. The upper rollers of each of the forms are in rolling engagement with a lower side of one of the upper decks, enabling the forms to be rolled out from under the upper decks after the slab foundation has hardened.

A post-tensioned tube foundation for supporting a structure subject to high upset forces is described herein. The post-tensioned tube foundation includes an outer CMP, an inner CMP, and a tubular concrete base positioned between the inner CMP and the outer CMP. The outer CMP includes an inner surface that defines a cavity extending between a first open end and an opposite second open end. The outer CMP is positioned within an excavated hole defined along a ground surface. The inner CMP is positioned within the cavity of the outer CMP such that an annular space is defined between the inner CMP and the outer CMP. The tubular concrete base is positioned within the annular space defined between the inner CMP and the outer CMP. A plurality of bracing beams extend radially outwardly from the tubular concrete base.
