BARRIER PANEL CONNECTING CLIP AND METHOD
An apparatus and method for endwise connecting subterranean barrier members is disclosed. The apparatus includes at least two barrier members with each barrier member extending between top and bottom edges. Further, each barrier member has a side first edge having a flange defining a first connector and an opposed second side edge having a channel defining a second connector. The channel is sized and shaped to receive the flange of an adjacent barrier member in slidable interconnection therein. The apparatus further include a first side panel shaped to lie against a first side of the barrier members, a second side panel shaped to lie against a second side of the barrier members and a bridging plate located between the first and second panel members so as to bridge a gap therebetween, wherein the gap has a width corresponding to a width of the first and second barrier members. The associated method is directed toward creating the apparatus.

Apparatus for Constructing Foundation Pilings
Apparatus for making foundation pilings includes a lead section with screw threads, at least one extension section, and a bit carried by the first of the extension sections. The bit slides onto the first, lower end of the extension section and is operable to compress the soil laterally to the extension sections and form a lateral groove in the soil. Grout fills the annular region of the hole bored by the apparatus including the grooves for lateral stability. Each extension section is formed to fit into the next one and to be secured to it by lateral bolts. The bolt heads prevent the bit from moving vertically as the lead section advances into the soil. Bits may be added to increase the size of the opening bored.

Device for deep driving of tubes having a large diameter
A tubing device is operatively connectable to an excavation machine. The tubing device comprises a base frame, at least one guiding tower operatively connected to the base frame, and a tube operating unit, operatively connected to the guiding tower. The tube operating unit is slidable along the guiding tower and is provided with engaging means capable of both selectively holding a tube segment, and of transmitting a rotary motion and an axial sliding movement to such a tube segment so as to allow the progressive driving in the ground and subsequent extraction from the ground.
RETAINING WALL SYSTEM, METHOD OF SUPPORTING SAME, AND KIT FOR USE IN CONSTRUCTING SAME
A retaining wall can include wall blocks positioned to retain material against a rear side of the wall blocks. A method for supporting such a retaining wall method includes attaching at least one of the wall blocks to at least one ground-stabilizing base body supporting the wall blocks. The ground-stabilizing base body can include a flexible cable attached to the rear side of at least one of the wall blocks and to a portion extending rearward away from the rear side of at least one of the wall blocks.

Systems and methods for installing pile structures in permafrost
A pile system for permafrost comprising a pilot hole, at least one pile, and frozen slurry. The pilot hole is formed to a pilot hole depth. The at least one pile is arranged at least partly within the pilot hole and extends to a pile string depth. The frozen slurry is within the pilot hole and is at least partly around the at least one pile.

Method and device for monitoring the ramming of a ram post into the ground
The invention relates to a method for monitoring the ramming of a ram post (1) into the ground. A succession of blows are struck on the ram post (1) via an impact driving device (3), causing the ram post (1) to be rammed into the ground. Parameters for the load-bearing capacity of the ram post (1) in the ground are ascertained during the ramming of the ram post (1) via a monitoring unit (14).
