A method of making a self-stopping bead for jewelry. The method comprises the steps of: inserting a resilient tube with an axial passage lengthwise into a relatively rigid tube having a longitudinal axis; deforming the rigid tube inward toward said axis at at least first and second spaced-apart locations along said axis until the rigid tube is necked down at said locations enough to pinch the resilient tube at a depression; and severing the rigid tube and the resilient tube at said depressions thereby forming a self-stopping bead with opposing holes wherein during the step of deforming, the rigid tube and the resilient tube are pinched off so that each hole in the bead receives therein an end of the resilient tube so that the resilient inner tube has a length substantially the same as an axial length of the self-stopping bead between the opposed bead holes.

Multicolored flexible wearables include a first portion having a first flexible polymer forming a toroid and including colorant(s), an exposed first outer surface, an exposed second outer surface, and a recess in the first outer surface not reaching the second outer surface. A second portion formed of a second flexible polymer fills a majority of the recess and includes colorant(s). The first and second flexible polymers have different colors and are permanently bonded together. Precious material particles may be disposed within the first and/or second flexible polymers. One or more of the colorants may have a color matching a color of the precious material particles. One method of bonding the portions includes depositing a liquid second portion into the recess and then curing it. Another method includes depositing a solid second portion into the recess and then curing a liquid layer of polymer between the first portion and second portion.

The embodiments herein disclose hypoallergenic, metal surface sealant clear aerosol composition to be used on metals (specifically jewelry) to prevent skin allergies and the process of tarnishing of metal. The method of synthesizing hypoallergenic metal surface sealant clear aerosol composition comprises the following steps. The paraloid-B-48 material (10.59 wt %) is added to ethyl acetate (31.77 wt %) slowly under constant agitation. The mixture comprising paraloid-B-48 material and ethyl acetate is agitated till no lumps are present. The butyl acetate (8.47 wt %), TAXIB Plasticizer (0.70 wt %), propylene glycol monomethyl ether (PM) acetate (19.77 wt %), ethyl acetate (28.24 wt %), Chemia #46210 Lavandin (0.42 wt %) and dimethyl ether to the mixture comprising paraloid-B-48 material and ethyl acetate are added to the mixture comprising paraloid B-48 material and ethyl acetate to obtain a composition. The composition is blended at a predetermined speed to uniformly mix the components.

Methods of forming larger sintered compacts of PCD and other sintered ultrahard materials are disclosed. Improved solvent metal compositions and layering of the un-sintered construct allow for sintering of thicker and larger high quality sintered compacts. Jewelry may also be made from sintered ultrahard materials including diamond, carbides, and boron nitrides. Increased biocompatibility is achieved through use of a sintering metal containing tin. Methods of sintering perform shapes are provided.
