Color Coding System for PVC Pipes and Couplings
20210248929 · 2021-08-12 ·

A system of visual and non-visual marks for pipes and couplings which allows users to group the pipes and couplings by type, size, end configurations and composition with a series of symbols, including colors, shapes, swirls, patterns. The symbols are applied to the pipes and couplings by printing, etching, painting, applying stickers, and or molding. The non-visual mark utilize the magnetic and radio reflective nature of the marks to allow remote identification of the plumbing pipes and couplings after being buried.

Thermostatic device and sanitary water supply and/or dispensing system comprising such a thermostatic device

A thermostatic device for a pipeline of a sanitary water supply or dispensing system and including a temperature meter which detects the temperature of the sanitary water entering the thermostatic device, a flow regulator which regulates a rate of sanitary water exiting from the device, and a control unit. The flow regulator operates in a first operating mode and a second operating mode. The first operating mode is a steady-state operating mode. The second operating mode is a steady-state setting operating mode in which the flow rate of sanitary water leaving the thermostatic device is a minimum flow rate. The control unit is configured to acquire, receive and/or calculate a reference temperature and arrange the switching of the operating mode when the temperature meter detects a temperature of the sanitary water greater than the reference temperature.

The present inventive concept relates to a water recirculating device (100) comprising: a heating arrangement (120); and a flow path divider (122) placed in a water recirculating path (116) upstream from the heating arrangement (120), wherein the flow path divider (122) is arranged to divide the water recirculating path (116) into a heating path (124) and a non-heating path (126); and wherein a first mixing valve (106) is configured to mix water from the heating path (124) having a first temperature and water from the non-heating path (126) having a second temperature in order to form first temperature regulated water, and wherein a second mixing valve (112) is configured to mix water from the heating path (124) having the first temperature with water from the non-heating path (126) having the second temperature in order to form second temperature regulated water.

Connected Sanitaryware Systems and Methods

A sanitaryware system may include sensors to determine a status or condition of one or more sanitaryware fixtures in the sanitaryware system and perform a particular function, such as, for example performing a flush, closing the flush valve and/or angle stop, sending an alert, initiating a service ticket. The sanitaryware system may automatically perform the function. The sanitaryware system may communicate the status or condition to an internet connected device and/or user, the device may perform the function or may instruct the sanitaryware to perform the function. The sensed information, sanitaryware system status or condition, and/or initiated response may be logged and monitored to improve the overall efficiency and operation of the sanitaryware system and the sanitaryware fixtures within the system.
