PLUMBING FIXTURE WITH POWER AND COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A power and communications system associated with a plumbing fixture and which is connected with an external electrical power source. The system includes a power and communication assembly having electrical circuitry adapted to be electrically connected with the external electrical power source and provide electrical power to the power and communication assembly. The electrical circuitry can also be coupled with a plurality of peripheral devices. The power and communication assembly includes a transceiver in communication with the electrical circuitry and adapted to transmit and receive messages with an external communication network and a communication router in communication with the transceiver and adapted to be communicatively coupled with the plurality of peripheral devices. The plumbing fixture is coupled with the power and communication assembly and is adapted to be operably coupled with the plurality of peripheral devices. The plumbing fixture may take the form of a sink or a shower panel.
Weir Grate
A weir grate (100) comprises a base tray (112) having a plate (120). The plate (120) comprises an upstanding wall (121) arranged to form a periphery of the plate. The plate further comprises a lip (180, 180) that projects laterally from and around an in-use upper end of the peripheral wall (121). An infill tray (116) may be positioned in the base tray (112).
Weir grate
A weir grate (10, 100) comprises a base tray (12, 112) having an outlet (14, 114), and an infill tray (16, 116) positionable in the base tray. The base tray comprises a plurality of discretely positioned posts (22, 122) projecting upwardly therefrom in use. The infill tray comprises a plurality of correspondingly positioned locators (40, 140) projecting downwardly therefrom in use. Each locator is arranged for engaged with a respective post when the infill tray is positioned in the base tray.
SHOWER DRAIN ASSEMBLIES
Shower drain assemblies and their components are disclosed. In some examples, a shower drain assembly may include a shower drain, a retaining ring, a sealing ring assembly, or a combination thereof. The retaining ring may fit inside the shower drain, and the sealing ring assembly may fit inside the shower drain and on top of the retaining ring. In some other examples, a shower drain assembly may include a shower drain, a gasket, a compression ring assembly, or a combination thereof. The gasket may fit inside the shower drain, and the compression ring assembly may fit inside the shower drain and on top of the gasket. The shower drain assemblies may allow for fluid pressure testing of shower drain and pipe assemblies. The shower drain assembly may allow for fluid pressure testing of areas not previously tested or a lack of a need for caulking, among other improvements.
Protective cover for drain snakes
Protective covers made of protective material to prevent twisting and kinking of associated apparatus used for clearing obstructions in pipes or other cavities (the apparatus also commonly referred to as drain snakes) are disclosed. The cover bodies encircle the apparatus with an entry opening, closest point to the where the apparatus is coming from when the apparatus is moving toward the drain, and an exit opening, where the apparatus leaves the protective cover and moves toward or into the part being cleaned, which could be a drain, pipe or other part that material flows through. The entry and exit openings could be a section of the protective cover or they could be a separate attachable part. The protective cover body may have a handle, and may be rigid or flexible, with an option to have accordion like flexibility.
