SMART DEODORIZATION DEVICE WITH COVER PLATE

A smart deodorization device with a cover plate includes a reaction chamber having a reaction cavity; an air extraction unit, configured for extracting odor in or near a toilet pool into the reaction cavity; and a water supply unit, configured for supplying water to the reaction cavity. When working, the air extraction unit extracts the odor into the reaction cavity, and the odor is mixed with the water in the reaction cavity to be converted into purified gas and then discharged from the reaction cavity. By using the characteristic that ammonia molecules in the odor are easily soluble in water, the odor and water are mixed in the reaction cavity and then discharged to realize the gas purification. Thus, the device has obvious effects, simple structures, lower costs, and convenience to use without need of replacing filtering materials.

Analytical Toilet with Microfluidic Chip

An analytical toilet is disclosed with a bowl adapted to receive excreta, a conduit for transporting a liquid excreta sample from the bowl, and a liquid reagent source. The analytical toilet also includes a microfluidic chip that has a sensor configured to detect at least one property of the excreta sample. The microfluidic chip also has an excreta sample path in fluid communication with the conduit and the sensor and a reagent path in fluid communication with the liquid reagent source and the sensor. The length of and number of channels in the sample path and the reagent path are selected so as to control the respective fluid resistance of the excreta sample and the reagent to thereby optimize the mixing and flow rates of the excreta sample and reagent into the sensor. There is also disclosed analytical toilet with a microfluidic chip having reagent path that includes a first and a second channel. The second channel is longer than the first channel. A valve, which is controllable so as to cause the reagent to flow through either the first channel, the second channel or both channels. As such, the fluid resistance of the reagent is controlled, to thereby optimize the flow rate of the reagent into the sensor.

Ultraviolet Sanitation Unit for Plumbing Fixtures
20220378966 · 2022-12-01 ·

A flushometer including a sanitation unit is described herein. The sanitation unit may be configured to emit ultraviolet light in response to the flushometer effectuating a flush of the fixture. The ultraviolet light may sterilize and/or sanitize a plume caused as a result of the flush. The ultraviolet light may be emitted for a predetermined amount of time to sterilize, sanitize, and/or kill any pathogens contained in the plume. Additionally or alternatively, the sanitation unit may emit the ultraviolet light periodically. For example, the sanitation unit may emit the ultraviolet light in response to receiving one or more signals from a gateway and/or server. The sanitation unit may provide an environmentally friendly solution that reduces water consumption and/or cleans, sanitizes, and/or sterilizes plumbing fixtures, toilet seats, etc. between uses without the need for harsh chemicals and/or cleaning solutions.

Water leak detection assembly
11513026 · 2022-11-29 ·

A water leak detection assembly for a toilet includes a housing and a flow sensor. The housing is mountable externally or internally to a tank of a toilet. The flow sensor is positionable in-line with a fill line that is engaged to the tank and detects a flow of water from the fill line into the tank. A microprocessor is engaged to and positioned in the housing and is operationally engaged to the flow sensor. The flow sensor is positioned to signal the microprocessor of the flow of water. Programming code positioned on the microprocessor enables the microprocessor to distinguish between signals from the flow sensor corresponding to a normal flow of water required for flushing the toilet and a leak of water from the tank into a bowl of the toilet. The microprocessor is positioned to selectively actuate an alert module to notify a user of the leak.
