Regenerative stormwater conveyance system and method
A regenerative stormwater conveyance (RSC) system for treating and dispersing stormwater runoff is disclosed which includes an upstream entry point where water enters the system and an entry pool downstream from the entry point that collects water from the entry point. The RSC system includes one or more shallow aquatic beds that receive water from the entry pool in a serial manner and each of which includes a filtration structure for filtering water from the aquatic bed. Riffle weir grade control structures are positioned between the aquatic beds and transition water overflowing from each upstream aquatic bed to a downstream aquatic bed. Accordingly, collected stormwater runoff traverses the series of aquatic beds and riffle weir grading structures and is treated and safely detained, thus, conveying stormwater to groundwater through infiltration.
MODULAR STORMWATER MANAGEMENT DEVICE AND SYSTEM
Systems and modular devices for roof or ground-level stormwater management are disclosed. A modular stormwater management device includes a water retention mat structured to absorb stormwater, a rigid frame structured to support the water retention mat, and a perforated surface structured to permit drainage of the stormwater from the water retention mat through the perforated surface. A modular stormwater management system includes a plurality of modular stormwater management devices, each of the modular stormwater management devices including a water retention mat structured to absorb stormwater, a rigid frame structured to support the water retention mat, and a perforated surface structured to permit drainage of the stormwater from the water retention mat through the perforated surface.
DISPOSABLE MODULAR RESERVOIR
Embodiments of the present disclosure relate generally to a reservoir (40) that is easily removed from a grey water flush system. The reservoir is made modular so that rather than removing an entire reservoir/pump/circuitry system, the reservoir (40) can be separately removed from the system. The reservoir can also be made disposable, which can save cleaning and refurbishment costs. This can also increase turn-around time for maintenance of the system.

There is provided a plastic infiltration unit comprising: a top deck, at least one pillar extending from the top deck, wherein the at least one pillar includes a plurality of compartments, wherein at least one of the compartments is laterally enclosed, and wherein the top deck and the at least one pillar are produced in one piece. There is further provided a plastic base plate for use with a plastic infiltration unit. There is further provided a plastic infiltration unit side plate. There is yet further provided a plastic in filtration system for deployment underground comprising a plastic infiltration unit and a plastic base plate, wherein the at least one pillar of the plastic infiltration unit is received at the receiving location of the plastic base plate.
A PLASTIC INFILTRATION UNIT, A SYSTEM COMPRISING A PLURALITY OF PLASTIC INFILTRATION UNITS
There is provided a plastic infiltration unit comprising: a top deck which extends in a plane, at least one pillar extending from the top deck for supporting the top deck, wherein the top deck is provided with at least one integrated connector arranged to connect the plastic infiltration unit with another at least one integrated connector, of another plastic infiltration unit in a side by side arrangement.
Waste disposal docking system for recreational vehicles and method of use
A waste disposal docking system for a vehicle includes a septic tank hose to attach to and extend from a septic tank hose connection fitting of the vehicle; a coiled metal extension device secured to a housing attached to the vehicle and engaged with an end of the septic tank hose; and a control system having a motor engaged with the coiled metal extension device to extend and contract the coiled metal extension device; the control system with the motor extend and contract the septic tank hose to and from a sewer cleanout station.
DISTRIBUTED SYSTEMS FOR STORMWATER MONITORING AND REPORTING
Distributed systems and methods for the automatic monitoring and reporting of data relating to the chemistry and flow of stormwater (i.e. stormwater data) are presented. Multiple fluid sensor devices are exposed to stormwater via positioning the sensor devices in locations of interest. The sensor devices are arranged in self-healing mesh networks. The sensor devices are enabled to acquire stormwater data indicating various fluid properties that are desired to be monitored. A sensor device is further enabled to transmit its acquired stormwater data, either directly or indirectly, to one or more remote computing devices that is hosting a stormwater monitoring application (SMA). The SMA is enabled to process and analyze the stormwater data. The SMA generates measurements and reports based on the processed and analyzed stormwater data.
Internal connector for modular fluid treatment system
A connector for axially fixing a module or support of a module to an elongate pipe has a central web with a rear flange extending from a rear edge and a front web extending from a front edge. The web may be partially cylindrical with the flanges extending radially. The web is sized and shaped to mate with the outer surface of the cylindrical pipe and extend through a hole in the module support with the rear web against the rear face of the support and the front web against the front face of the support. A fabric layer is wrapped around the outside to conceal the support and connector. A fluid treatment unit with spaced apart modules utilizes the connector to fix the modules axially to the pipe with a fabric layer concealing the support and connector.
Waste disposal apparatus for an aircraft and aircraft comprising the waste disposal apparatus
A waste disposal apparatus for an aircraft comprising a basin for receiving liquid and/or solid pollutants, comprising a lid for closing off the basin, comprising a feed arrangement for supplying an air-water mixture, wherein the feed arrangement has an air-water mixing device for providing the air-water mixture and a distributing device for distributing the air-water mixture in the basin, and comprising a lead-off arrangement for leading off the effluent formed from the air-water mixture containing the pollutants, wherein the lead-off arrangement opens out into an outlet from the basin and the lead-off arrangement can be subjected to an underpressure, so that the air-water mixture, when the lid is closed, is sucked into the basin via the distributing device is proposed, wherein the air-water mixing device has an air duct and a nozzle for the dispensing of water and the water can be subjected to an overpressure and wherein the distributing device and the basin are jointly designed such that the water-air mixture is guided in a cyclonic and/or helical path from the distributing device into the outlet.
