CLOSET AUGER
20170232484 · 2017-08-17 ·

A closet auger includes an elongated casing member extending along an axis, and an elongated drive member telescopically received in the casing member and movable between an extended position and a retracted position relative to the casing member along the axis. The drive member is rotatable relative to the casing member about the axis. The closet auger further includes a flexible cable having an end removably connectable to the drive member in first and second configurations, where a length of the flexible cable is retracted within or extended from the drive member, respectively. A cable retention assembly is supported by the casing member and selectively engageable with the flexible cable to inhibit movement of the flexible cable relative to the casing member. The drive member is movable relative to the flexible cable when the cable retention assembly engages the flexible cable to change between the first and second configurations.

Automated anti-freeze system for sewer jetter system

An automated system for a jetter system, a method for automatically filling a sewer access system with antifreeze liquid, and a method for automatically recapturing antifreeze within a sewer access system are provided. The automated system may include: a control system configured to provide a normal operational mode, an auto antifreeze mode, and an auto recapture mode; a pump; first and second tanks, and conduits that connect these components. The system automatically fills the conduits with antifreeze liquid from the second tank and then can automatically purge the conduits of antifreeze liquid and return the antifreeze liquid to the second tank for later use in again filing the conduits with antifreeze liquid.

CLEAR DRUM COVERS FOR PLUMBING TOOLS
20170268216 · 2017-09-21 ·

A clear or generally transparent cover or enclosure for plumbing tools is described. The clear cover enables viewing of interior regions of the plumbing tools. In particular versions, the covers are used with drum type drain cleaning devices and enable visual inspection of the drum and/or a flexible drain cleaning cable associated with the device.

MOTOR DAMPENER AND DRIVE TRAIN FOR PLUMBING TOOLS
20170268596 · 2017-09-21 ·

Motor dampening provisions are described. Incorporation and use of the motor dampener(s) in a rotary type drain cleaning machine enables elimination of a clutch in the machine. Also described are clutch-free drive systems using the motor dampener(s). Also described are torque countering members that are used in conjunction with the motor dampener(s).

Pipe inspection and cleaning apparatus and systems

Pipe inspection systems including a push-cable, jetter, and camera assembly are disclosed. A jetter nozzle may be configured to spin and/or propel the camera head within a pipe or other cavity. A cutter line may be attached to the camera head to clean obstructions. A sonde may be coupled to a camera head to generate magnetic field signals for use with a buried utility locator to locate a pipe or other cavity into which the camera head is deployed.

Sewer Equipment Cleaning Systems
20210381218 · 2021-12-09 ·

Sewer equipment cleaning systems and methods of use are described. The sewer equipment cleaning systems may include an additive delivery system having multiple additive tanks and an additive tank pump configured to deliver additive into a wash system residing on a sewer inspection vehicle (SIV). The SIV is typically equipped with an inspection camera and one or more cables connecting the camera to the SIV. The wash system may be used for rinsing contaminants from the camera and cables upon their withdrawal from a sewer system. The additive delivery system can be plumbed into the SIV wash system in order to deliver additives, which may include surfactants or disinfectants, to water from the wash system, without adulterating water in the wash system water tank.

An RV sewage drain hose hanger that may be mounted to an RV or at a suitable location at an RV sewage dump station is disclosed. The apparatus includes an attachment point for the inboard end of the RV drain hose. When the drain hose is connected to the attachment point the hose is retained in a substantially vertical orientation with the open end of the drain hose facing upwardly. Located above the drain hose attachment is a hose support connection that supports a standard garden hose above the sewage drain hose so that the nozzle of the hose is directed downwardly into the open end of the drain hose. The hose support may be defined by a first and optional second platform, each having an opening for the hose. The flow of water from the hose nozzle is aimed directly into the open end of the sewage drain hose.
