Systems and methods for providing door clearance modification
A tire door clearance system is disclosed that includes a non-flammable material that is fastened at a first portion thereof on an inner side thereof to any of a door and door frame, and an intumescent material applied to the inner side of the non-flammable material at a second portion thereof.
Method of forming VOC and odor reducing building panels
Described herein are methods of forming a VOC and odor-reducing building panel. The methods include providing a substrate; applying a wet-state coating to a major surface of the substrate, the wet-state coating comprising carrier comprising water; and drying the wet-state coating, thereby evaporating at least 95 wt. % of the carrier to form a dry-state coating.

High solids coatings for building panels
Described herein is a coating composition suitable for application to a building panel. The coating composition comprises inorganic pigment, liquid carrier, and a humectant comprising a first ester-containing compound. The liquid carrier may be present in an amount ranging from about 10 wt. % to about 30 wt. % based on the total weight of the coating composition. Described herein are also building panels coated with the coating composition and methods of their production.
Rigid insulating panel and rigid insulation panel assembly
A rigid insulating panel comprising an insulating material core with an R-value of at least 2.5 (hr.Math.ft.sup.2.Math. F.)/BTU.Math.in. The insulating material core has opposed first and second surfaces, a pair of spaced-apart longitudinal edges, and a pair of spaced-apart lateral edges extending between the pair of longitudinal edges. At least one of the pair of longitudinal edges and the pair of lateral edges comprises connecting members including a tongue and groove assembly with an inner groove and an outer tongue separated by a substantially S-shaped median wall. The tongue and groove assembly is engageable with the tongue and groove assembly of an adjacent insulating panel to provide a flexible interconnection therebetween. The rigid insulating panel also comprises at least one membrane covering one of the first surface and the second surface. An assembly method for insulating a concrete surface of a building using an assembly of insulating panels is also provided.
System and method for a security film
A system and method for a security glass system. The system includes a pane of glass and a security film adhered to the glass. A bracket has a glass coupler portion, a gap definer, and a support coupler. The glass coupler is adhered to the security film via an adhesive. The support coupler is adhered to the support via an adhesive. The result is a securement system which can withstand more blows than traditional glass.
Method for applying surface image to composite sheets or panels
Disclosed herein are composite building materials having at least one textured surface. The textured surface includes at least a plurality of particles. The textured surface closely mimics conventional building materials. The building materials can contain an image printed using ink jet printing methods with inks optimized for enhanced color stability.
STRUCTURAL INSULATED SHEATHING PANEL AND METHODS OF USE AND MANUFACTURE THEREOF
Structural insulated wall and roof sheathing systems for use in building construction designed to provide a structural building envelope that is moisture permeable but protects from bulk water, excess air, and thermal transfer.

Building panel with locking system
A set of building panels including a first mechanical locking system at respective first and second opposite edges. The first mechanical locking system including at one of the first or second opposite edges a tongue groove configured to receive a locking tongue of the other of the first or second edges, for vertical locking of adjacent essentially identical panels in an assembled position. The locking tongue includes an essentially horizontal and/or upwards-facing upper surface. A second mechanical locking system is formed on respective third and fourth opposite edges. The second mechanical locking system includes at one of the third or fourth edges a wedge groove configured to receive a displaceable locking tongue, for vertical locking of essentially identical adjacent panels in an assembled position. The displaceable locking tongue is configured to displace in a displacement groove provided in the said other of the third or fourth edge.
