Magnetic Jewelry Connectors For Forming A Jewelry Piece
An interchangeable jewelry system forms a bracelet, necklace, earring, and/or ring jewelry piece. The interchangeable jewelry system comprises at least two jewelry strand sections, each having a central body located centrally between two end walls comprising oppositely attracting mating magnetic portions placed opposed to one another on the central body. The mating magnetic portions comprise a first portion having a depressed magnetic female rim extending to form a magnetic female cavity section and mating raised magnetic male rim extending to form a magnetic male raised section. The depressed magnetic female rim aligns with and receives the raised magnetic male rim to guide and seat the first and second magnetic portions together. Jewelry strand sections are interchangeably connected through the mating portions to form a jewelry piece. The mating magnetic portions securely connect the jewelry strand sections to prevent loss, while being operative to readily disconnect when subjected to pulling force, increasing safety and mitigating injury to the wearer.
MAGNETIC QUICK-RELEASE CONNECTOR FOR PET COLLARS
An improved quick-release connector that may be used with a pet collar. The connector is fabricated entirely of metal and operates using one magnet. The connector is easily modified to break apart under different pull forces.
Novelty buttons
The present disclosure relates to novelty and promotional buttons. The button includes a magnet that is exposed through an opening in a button back to adhere the button to a ferrous metal substrate.
Magnetic zipper
New forms of fasteners are disclosed. Some such fasteners include a new form of zipper with magnetic actuation, initiated by bringing one end of a linear array of magnets into closer proximity with another end of a linear array of magnets. Some such fasteners include structural locking, driven by magnetic force. Some such fasteners include elastic subunits incorporated in a common semi-flexible substrate. The techniques set forth are applicable to a wide variety of applications, incorporating many different materials. For example, in some contexts, some fastening techniques allow rapid closing of articles, such as gym bags or sports apparel, with minimum effort, leading to an extraordinary custom-fit to a user's preferences.

Fastener stringer includes a fastener tape provided with a fastener element; and a stop part arranged at an end of the fastener tape. The stop part includes: a magnetic body; an encapsulating member encapsulating the magnetic body; and an injection-molded portion that at least partially covers or surrounds the encapsulating member encapsulating the magnetic body. At least the encapsulating member hinders heat from being transferred to the magnetic body while the injection-molded portion is formed.
Devices and accessories employing a living hinge
A device incorporating both a magnet and a living hinge may be employed to construct cases to protect electronic devices and to function as a closure for cases and lidded containers. Such cases often can be bent three 360° allowing the cases to be either closed protecting devices therein are closed upon themselves allowing the case to function to secure an electronic device to a substrate such as an article of clothing. The devices of the disclosure can also be used to organize and hold loose items together.
MAGNETICALLY GUIDED LATCH
Embodiments are directed toward a latch. The latch preferably has a housing that defines a receiver channel that is configured to receive a latchable member. The latch preferably has a catch that is transitionable between an open configuration and a closed configuration. In the open configuration, the catch is preferably configured to enable insertion and removal of the latchable member into and from the receiver channel. In the closed configuration, the catch is preferably configured to at least partially close the receiver channel and to prevent removal of the latchable member from the receiver channel.
Flag football system
Systems and methods described herein may provide an adjustable magnetic attachment force for flag football and for determining a location in flag football. In some embodiments, a system comprises a flag and a wearable item, wherein the flag and the wearable item are configured such that a magnetic attachment force exerted between a first connector and a second connector attaches the flag to the wearable item. In some embodiments, a set comprises one or more flags and one or more wearable items, wherein an adjustable magnetic attachment force attaching the flags and wearable items is adjusted by replacing one or more magnetic components. In some embodiments, a system comprising a flag and a wearable item is configured to detect that contact between a first connector and a second connector has been broken and to automatically indicate a location associated with the contact being broken.

Disclosed is a toggle lever closure, including a first closure element, a second closure element which is pivotable about a first pivot axis with respect to the first closure element in order to close the toggle lever closure, and a tensioning element which is connected in an articulated manner to the second closure element about a second pivot axis spaced apart from the first pivot axis. At least one magnetic device acts between the first closure element and the second closure element and/or between the first closure element and the tensioning element.
