HOLLOW BRICK WITH HOLDING RIBS
A hollow brick includes a bottom wall, two side walls, two intermediate walls, and a top wall. The top wall defines three arched top boundary surfaces of three ventilation holes bounded by the bottom wall, the side walls, the intermediate walls and the top wall. Two supports, each of which supports a first corrugated plate, project from the side walls. Two inner holding ribs are in two ventilation holes respectively proximal to the side walls and lie below the arched top boundary surfaces. A middle one of the arched top boundary surfaces abuts and presses a curved middle portion of a second corrugated plate, and the inner holding ribs respectively lift lateral portions of the second corrugated plate.
Tile and support structure
In one embodiment of a tile and support structure, the tile and support structure may be configured to engage a tile such that the tile is oriented in a generally vertical plane. The support structure may include a riser tile engaged with both an upper riser support structure and a lower riser support structure.
MODULAR WATER RETAINING TILES AND GREEN BLUE ROOF STRUCTURES CONTAINING AN ASSEMBLY OF SUCH TILES
Water containment modules for green and blue roof installations are disclosed. The modules include a water retaining module having a porous scaffold filled with a flexible hydrophilic foam, and a bottommost drainage layer having supports that define channels through which a fluid can flow away from the module. The module in some embodiment further includes an uppermost porous horticultural growth media layer that including a particulate filler embedded in a porous hydrophilic polymer foam.
Device and method for fixing a support structure for a solar panel to a corrugated roof
The invention relates to a device (1) fixing a support structure for at least one solar panel, in particular a support rail (23) of a support structure for at least one solar panel (24), to a corrugated roof (20) comprising at least one corrugated roof plate (21), said device (1) defines a receiving space (7) for receiving at least part of a crest (C) of at least one corrugated roof plate (21) and being configured for co-action with at least one fastening element for fastening of the device (1) onto the corrugated roof (20).
Roof cover board derived from engineered recycled content
Disclosed herein is a method of manufacturing an improved cover board product with a panel. In some embodiments, the method includes preparing fragments into an assembly; mixing the fragments and an adhesive into a blended core furnish; applying the adhesive to a top side of a bottom layer fabric in the assembly; forming a core mat of the blended core furnish on top of the adhesive; applying the adhesive to a top side of the core mat; applying a surface layer fabric on the top side of the adhesive; pressing the assembly; and cutting and trimming the assembly to form panels.
BONDING ADHESIVE AND ADHERED ROOFING SYSTEMS PREPARED USING THE SAME
A method is provided for forming an adhered membrane roof system that meets Factory Mutual (FM) 4470/4474 standards for wind uplift. The method comprises applying a bond adhesive to a substrate on a roof to form an adhesive layer and applying a membrane directly to the adhesive layer. The bond adhesive includes a moisture-curable polymer.

HYDROPHILIC COMPOSITE
Hydrophilic composite structures are made by impregnating a 3DL structure with a polyurethane foam formulation and curing the formulation to produce a foam that occupies the spaces in the 3DL structure. The composite structures have an unusually good capacity for retaining water even when under compressive forces. They also exhibit at most moderate swelling when saturated with water. The foam is useful as a layer of a water containment system such as a green roof or blue roof system.
Liquid applied roofing system with improved moisture barrier layer
A water barrier system to protect a roof surface from environmental conditions is disclosed. In one embodiment, the water barrier system includes an underlayment layer and a liquid applied coating. In use, the underlayment is coupled to the roof surface. Thereafter, the liquid coating is applied to the underlayment to form a barrier layer. The underlayment may be manufactured from a porous material so that the liquid applied coating is at least partially absorbed by the porous underlayment. In this manner, direct application of the liquid coating to the roof surface is eliminated. In one embodiment, the underlayment may be provided with a load bearing component/layer and a coating absorbing component/layer. For flat roof applications, the load bearing component/layer may be provided with increased rigidity for dimensional and installation stability. Meanwhile, for roof penetration applications, the load bearing component/layer may be provided with increased elasticity to enable the underlayment to wrap about the penetration.
Device and Method for Fixing a Support Structure for a Solar Panel to a Corrugated Roof
The invention relates to a device fixing a support structure for at least one solar panel, in particular a support rail of a support structure for at least one solar panel, to a corrugated roof comprising at least one corrugated roof plate, said device defines a receiving space for receiving at least part of a crest of at least one corrugated roof plate and being configured for co-action with at least one fastening element for fastening of the device onto the corrugated roof.
