METHOD FOR COVERING ROOF WITH SHRINK WRAP
A system and method for covering at least a portion of a roof with an impermeable membrane is provided. The method includes placing a strip of the impermeable membrane over a subset of the portion of the roof intended to be covered, cutting a length of the strip to accommodate a size of the portion of the roof intended to be covered, fastening a flexible, elongated band of material to the end of the strip using a plurality of first fasteners, rolling the band of material at least one half turn in the end of the strip, attaching the band of material that was rolled in the end of the strip to a fascia of eaves of the roof using a plurality of second fasteners, and repeating the steps above until the portion of the roof is covered in the impermeable membrane.
Electrical and mechanical roof underlayment
The invention is an electrical and mechanical roof underlayment which provides electrical and mechanical connection of solar shingles to a roof. The underlayment simplifies the installation of solar shingles allowing the shingles to be installed and connected together in the same step. The underlayment includes a membrane which has embedded electrical conductors and electrical connectors that provides an electrical connecting system extending to an electrical circuit. The membrane further has embedded mechanical members with mechanical connectors that secure the shingles to the membrane. The membrane is structurally attached to a roof surface. The structural attachment may be an adhesive attachment. Solar shingles are connected to the membrane by an integral clasping mechanism that mechanically and electrically connects the shingles to the membrane. No external wiring, connectors or devices are required to make the electrical connection between the shingles and the membrane. Contacts are integral and embedded into each individual shingle.
Roofing cover board with coating
A cover board for use in a roofing system includes a core formed from recycled material. The core has a first major surface and a second major surface. The recycled material includes a plastic material. A fiberglass coating including at least one layer of fiberglass material overlies at least one of the first major surface and the second major surface.
Weldable, fully adhered waterproofing membrane system for blindside waterproofing applications
A membrane system, having a waterproof woven polymer reinforcing scrim disposed between two layers of a thermoplastic polymer membrane; and an optional layer of concrete activated adhesive applied on top of a center portion, but not to the edges of the thermoplastic polymer membrane so that the edges of adjacent membranes can be thermally welded together to form a waterproof seal for use in blindside waterproofing or roofing applications.
VENTILATED ROOF SYSTEM WITH RIDGE VENT
A roofing system in a building structure having a ridge vent includes strips of composite material having a base material adapted to form a hermetic seal with the top surface of a roofing section and recesses in a top surface in which an air permeable material can be positioned. A strip is applied to roof sections adjacent to each side of a ridge vent so that a ridge cap can overlay the strips in spaced relation from the underlying roof sections and be sealingly secured to the roof sections. The strip material establishes a barrier between the ridge cap and the roof sections through which air can pass, but through which the passage of rain and insects is inhibited.

Envelope Interface to Insulate a Post-Frame Building
This invention is an envelope-structure interface, enabling the use of exterior insulation and pressure-equalized cladding with a post-frame structure. The present invention includes the following interface details: a continuous roof-to-wall water, vapor, and air impermeable weather barrier that is fully adhered to sheathing exterior of framing, girts, and purlins; continuous roof-to-wall insulation exterior of weather barrier that is mechanically fastened back to the post-frame structure; and removal of the requirement for an interior finish material in a conditioned post-frame building. The invention brings superior envelope performance to the structural and material efficiency, rapid rate of construction, and affordability of post-frame techniques.

ELECTRICAL AND MECHANICAL ROOF UNDERLAYMENT FOR SOLAR SHINGLES WITH AIR GAP
Disclosed is a roofing underlayment providing mechanical and electrical connection for solar shingles that includes a water-impervious membrane adapted to be attached to a roof. The underlayment also includes a mechanical attachment member configured to mechanically attach a solar shingle to the roof, as well as an electrical conductor having an electrical first portion of which is embedded within the membrane, having an electrical second portion which is configured to electrically connect to a solar shingle, and having an electrical third portion which is configured to electrically connect to an electrical circuit. An air gap is provided that allows for air flow below the solar shingles. The air gap comprises a space between a bottom surface of the solar shingles and a bottom surface of the membrane.
Permeable water-resistive sloped roof underlayment/air barrier
The present invention relates to a water resistant, UV resistant, vapor permeable, air barrier roofing underlayment assembly for use on sloped roofs comprising a substrate of permeable polyester, a permeable copolymer acrylate coating bonded to the permeable polyester substrate and a pressure sensitive permeable copolymer adhesive secured to the permeable acrylate coating.
