PRECAST CLADDING PANELS WITH PROFILED PANEL EDGES
20220307269 · 2022-09-29 ·

A precast cladding panel has upper and lower edges that, as viewed in transverse vertical cross-section through the panel, are profiled for overlapping engagement with complementarily-profiled edges of vertically-adjacent cladding panels in a coplanar cladding panel assembly mounted to a supporting structure. The upper edge of the panel defines a convex horizontal ridge, and the lower edge of the panel defines a concave horizontal recess, such that the convex horizontal ridge on the upper edge of one panel will project into the concave recess of the lower edge of a similar panel mounted immediately above it. The convex configuration of the upper edge of the panel promotes drainage of water out of horizontal joints between panels in the mounted assembly of cladding panels, and the overlapping engagement of vertically-adjacent panels impedes or prevents the entry of wind-driven rain into the cladding structure via the horizontal joints between panels.

Pipe-liner eversion system and method
09724873 · 2017-08-08 ·

A pipe-liner system for use when lining a pipe interior features a pipe having a pipe opening end and a pipe interior wall. The system features a flexible, substantially-impermeable, elongate extender-tube and an evertable, flexible, elongate, tubular pipe-liner. The system features a substantially leak-proof pressure retaining closure-sleeve located on a pipe-liner second end. An extender-tube second end is attached to a pipe-liner first end via a substantially leak-proof connection there between. The combined extender-tube and the pipe-liner form a single continuous evertable tube, hereinafter referred to as an extended liner having the pressure retaining closure-sleeve enclosing an extended liner distal end. A length of the extender-tube and a length of the pipe-liner are each chosen so that the liner is caused to be accurately positioned within the pipe upon eversion.

PRE-PASTED WALL COVER AND A METHOD OF PRODUCING THE SAME
20220267648 · 2022-08-25 ·

A wall covering comprising a planar substrate having a front and a back facing opposite the front and an adhesive layer that covers the back of the substrate. The adhesive layer includes a separate polymer layer, formed by a polyvinyl alcohol polymer. Wall covering for example in the form of a pre-pasted paper is readily reactivated when wet, and exhibits no blocking, while having properties of sliding, adhesion, and stripability.

Pre-fabricated construction panels
09816265 · 2017-11-14 · ·

A pre-fabricated construction panel (100) for use on an external surface and/or as part of a building or construction is provided. The panel comprises at least a first layer (110) which is at least partially provided from thermally insulating material having a first surface, said panel comprising at least a second layer (120), said at least second layer being provided from fiber cement board, said second layer having a second surface facing said first surface, said first and second layers being connected one to the other by a spacing means located between and adhering to said first and said second surface, which spacing means provides at least one interspace (140) between the first and second surface, said at least one interspace having at least two openings to the external of said panel for enabling air to flow into and out of the interspace towards the external of said panel. The thermally insulating material means material has a thermal conductivity (lambda) less than or equal to 0.05 W/mK.

Siding with integrated rainscreen for concrete wall or block construction
11248379 · 2022-02-15 · ·

A wood or manufactured wood-composite based siding used on concrete wall or concrete masonry unit (CMU, or block) construction (including, but not limited to, insulated concrete form construction) with an integrated rainscreen feature. The rainscreen feature or component is applied to, or integrated into or with, the back of the siding (i.e., the inner surface) during the manufacturing process, or in a secondary process thereafter. The features may include raised elements, strips or ridges from approximately 1/16 to approximately ¾ inches tall, with one or more channels or spaces. No job-site assembly is required, thereby reducing time and cost.

FIRE-STOPPING PRODUCT

The invention provides a fire-stopping product, an insulated building façade comprising a fire-stopping product, and a method of making a fire-stopping product. The fire-stopping product comprises a resilient, porous material at least partially impregnated with an intumescent agent and held in compression by a releasable restraint. When exposed to hot gases from a fire, the restraint yields to release the resilient, porous material in an initial expansion, thereby exposing the intumescent agent to the hot gases and allowing rapid intumescence to occur. When implemented in a ventilated building façade, the fire-stopping product is able to close an air gap in a short amount of time.

Waterproof sheet for use in bridge pier repair and waterproof working method using the same

When a bridge pier is reinforced or repaired by wrapping a reinforcement around the pier, a waterproof sheet having a sufficient flexibility to attach to and cover the interface between the pier and the reinforcement in a liquid-tight manner is useful. The waterproof sheet is attached to the interface between the pier and the reinforcement to prevent water from penetrating into the interface for thereby preventing the reinforcement from deterioration.

Polymer-based bracket system for metal panels

A system for supporting exterior panels on a substrate of a building structure. The system has a plurality of polymeric bracket members, and each of the bracket members have at least one anchor section, at least one web section and at least one support section. The polymeric bracket members provide a thermal break from the exterior panel to the substrate of the building structure. A plurality of exterior cladding units are held in place by the bracket members. A plurality of vents are disposed between the panels and the exterior panels, and a plurality of vents are also disposed between the panels and the substrate, thereby forming a ventilation system.

Method for Applying a Structured Surface to a Building Surface and Corresponding Covering Element
20210381247 · 2021-12-09 ·

The invention pertains to a method for applying a structured surface to a building surface, particularly for the interior design of a room, wherein a carrier material is provided with a surface structure and the carrier material with this surface structure is applied to the building surface.

Device for draining a liquid, and building cladding element comprising such a device
11371238 · 2022-06-28 · ·

A device for draining a liquid from a first film layer which forms at least one part of a building cladding element. A first valve element can be arranged in the region of a first opening of the first film layer such that the valve element can be pivoted between a first position, which closes the first opening, and a second position, which at least partly releases the first opening. Additionally, a first opening and closing are configured to keep the first valve element in the first position if pressure of a liquid is less than or equal to a threshold, allow the first valve element to pivot from the first position to the second position if the pressure of the liquid exceeds the threshold, and pivot the first valve element from the second position to the first position if the pressure is substantially no longer present.
