METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING AN UNDERLAY MATERIAL, AND UNDERLAY MATERIAL
A method for manufacturing an underlay material (8) to be set under parquet or a laminate, the underlay material including a sheet material layer (1) and a flexible cellular plastic material layer (3) bonded under the sheet material layer, and a bottom surface of the cellular plastic layer being processed for providing an air space, whereby the bottom surface of the cellular plastic material layer (3) is processed by melting the cellular plastic material locally for providing an air space (9) and for simultaneously bonding the cellular plastic material layer to the sheet material layer (1). An underlay material manufactured by such a method is also described.
PANEL ASSEMBLY, AND EMBOSSING ELEMENT AND DECORATIVE PAPER SHEET FOR PRODUCING SUCH A PANEL ASSEMBLY
A panel assembly (34) has a plurality of panels (30), of which each includes a base element (10) which has a decorative paper (12) on the surface thereof facing away from the substrate, which decorative paper reproduces the appearance of a natural material, wherein each panel (30) is provided, using an embossing element, with a surface structure substantially synchronous to the decoration (16) of the visible face of the decorative paper (12), and the decoration (16) of a first number of panels (30-1) is subdivided by means of an imitation joint (32) extending in the longitudinal direction (L) of the respective panel (30-1) into a first decorative portion (16a) of a first predetermined width and into a second decorative portion (16b) of a second predetermined width, whereas the decoration (16) of the remaining panels (30-2) is free of such subdivisions in the width direction (B). An embossing element and a decorative paper sheet for producing such a panel assembly can also be provided.

Vacuum infused repair device and method for teak decks on boats, yachts and ships
A resin infusion repair device and method for repairing a wooden boat deck having a repair area that includes voids between the planking of the boat deck and the as built surface under the boat deck planking. A vacuum cover provides an airtight cover of the repair area. A vacuum suction line is inserted into the vacuum cover. A vacuum pump is connected to the vacuum suction line and provides vacuum suction at the repair area. A resin supply line is inserted through the vacuum cover. A resin supply source is connected to the resin supply line. The vacuum pump provides a vacuum suction that draws resin from resin supply source through the resin supply line and into the repair area so that the voids are all filled with the resin. In a preferred embodiment, the wooden boat deck is a teak boat deck.
