A levelling spacer device (10) for laying slab-shaped products (P) comprising: at least one base (20) having a lower surface (21) and an opposite upper surface (22) defining a support plane for at least two tiles (P) placed side by side, which is placed at a first distance (d1) from the lower surface (21); a spacer bridge (30) provided with: two legs (31) placed side by side between each other along a flanking direction and each one rising from a portion of the upper surface (22) of the base (20), wherein each leg (31) is frangibly connected to the respective base portion by a predefined fracture line (310) placed at a second distance (d2) from the lower surface (21) greater than the first distance (d1), wherein the fracture line (310) is formed by a longitudinal cut that is parallel to the flanking direction; and crosspiece (32), which joins the top of the two legs (31); and a through opening (40) adapted to be crossed by a pressure wedge (50) along a crossing direction (C) orthogonal to the flanking direction, wherein the through opening (40) is peripherally delimited at the top by the crosspiece (32) of the bridge (30), laterally by the legs (31) of the bridge (30) and at the bottom by a central portion (220) of the upper surface (22) of the base (20) coplanar with the support plane.

Two-sided casing chisel and method of use
11185973 · 2021-11-30 · ·

A two-sided casing chisel has two chisel blades that are mirror images of each other to enable one tool for chiseling and cleaning the doorway casing on either side of the doorway. The two-sided tool simply has to be flipped around to allow cleaning of doorway casing on an opposing side of the doorway. The chisel blades may be coupled to a blade assembly that is detachably attachable to a handle assembly. The blade assembly may have a first end and second end each having a two-sided chisel blade or sanding ends with an abrasive material to allow sanding along a doorway casing. The blade assembly may be reversible to allow a user to flip the blade assembly upside down to expose second end which may have sanding ends for sanding or a second set of chisel blades in the event blades on the first end become dull.

A levelling spacer device for the laying of slab-shaped products for coating surfaces, including at least one base having a lower surface and an opposite upper surface defining a support plane for two slab-shaped products placed side by side, a spacer bridge perimetrically delimiting a through opening adapted to be crossed by a pressure wedge along a crossing direction, wherein the bridge has at least two legs placed side by side between each other along a flanking direction orthogonal to the crossing direction and each one projecting from a respective portion of the upper surface of the base, in a direction orthogonal thereto, wherein each leg of the bridge is frangibly connected to the respective base portion, and a crosspiece, which joins the top of the two legs along the flanking direction, wherein each leg has an inner sidewall and an opposite outer sidewall converging on each other.

Floor tile scoring-cutting guide
11230138 · 2022-01-25 ·

A device to be used as tool creating a straightedge for scoring or cutting VCT (vinyl composition tile) or vinyl floor tile, comprising of a triangular plate that has flat and smooth side surface edges to be used as a straightedge guide to draw a utility knife or other apparatus along the edge. On one of the right angle sides of said triangular plate and face, is an elongated bar fence that extends at ninety-degree angle outwardly from said triangular plate and face. An optional T-bar fence constructed as an integral part of the Floor Tile Cutting—Guide extends only a minimal distance and only far enough from the bottom edge in order that the device can lay flat on a floor tile when it is abutted to the edge or laying off to the side of a floor tile. An optional bar fence on one of the right angle straightedge sides is movable up or down in a ninety-degree angle from said plate and face allowing for the bar fence to lay flat on a floor tile or drop down when off to the side and become a fence that can be abutted to the edge of the floor tile. A preferred embodiment along the fore mentioned sides, there are numeral and corresponding measurement markings indicating distance. Along and by the right angle straightedge side, measurement makings indicate the distance from the bar fence and the edge of the floor tile. Along and by the diagonal straightedge side, measurement makings indicate the distance that the right angle straightedge is from the bottom of floor tile being sized. Such measurement markings on the diagonal are parallel and horizontal to the right angle straightedge side that indicate distance right angle straightedge is from the bottom of the floor tile for easy, quick and accurate measuring for sizing, eliminating the need for a tape measure or other measuring device. With optional recessed, indented or even slightly protruding markings, they are a minimal distance away from the edge allowing for an unobstructed and unencumbered flat and smooth side to guide and to draw a utility knife or other such apparatus along the tool edge. With a preferred embodiment, optionally on the flat face or embedded into the plate of said triangle, is a non slip-slide material made preferably of a rubber material, however optionally it can be made of other material such as vinyl or leather that hold the tool firmly and securely in place preventing movement of tool while using it as a scoring or cutting guide. The tool is constructed preferably of a hard cased aluminum, however optionally it can be constructed of any integrally formed material such as any metal or hard plastic that is solid in nature. It is a tool that is lightweight, compact and easily storable.
