Door hardware locating tool
A door hardware locating tool includes a center wall including a first aperture that defines a first axis, a first side wall including a movable aperture movable along a second axis between a first setback position and a second setback position, the second axis being parallel and offset from the first axis, and a second side wall coupled to the first side wall and extending substantially parallel to the first side wall. A clamping mechanism is operable to move the first side wall and the second side wall in a direction normal to the first axis between a first position and a second position to clamp a door between the first side wall and the second side wall. The first side wall and the second side wall remain parallel to one another and are equidistant from the first axis throughout movement between the first position and the second position.
Wall plate mount alignment system and method
A wall plate mounting system for attaching one end of a swing arm at a desired height and orientation to a vertical wall and attaches at the opposite end to a monitor and keyboard. The system includes an elongated body opened at one end with a center channel partially covered by two elevated flanges. The elongated body includes lateral flanges each with an upward extending ear. The ears are spaced apart and form a slot that communicates with the channel. Formed on the elongated body and under the slot are mounting holes. The system also includes an elongated template configured to slide freely inside the channel and under the ears. Formed on the elongated template is an elongated second slot and length measurement indices. During assembly, the elongated template is partially extended from the r channel formed on the elongated body at a desired length and locked together to form a jig. The jig is then moved to other walls and the mounting holes are marked so that mounting holes used with all wall plate mounting systems are the same height and proper orientation.
Adjustable scribe and associated use therefore
An adjustable carpentry reveal tool includes a base member, and a sliding member slidably engaged to the base member wherein the sliding member is configured to be selectively displaced along predetermined linear increments relative to the base member without becoming detached from the base member. Advantageously, the sliding member is configured to simultaneously mark a pair of adjustable reveals along the x-axis and the y-axis of the trim corner of the frame opening without having to fasten the base member to the trim corner of the frame opening. Notably, in this manner, the adjustable reveals are defined between an outermost periphery of the base member and an outermost periphery of the sliding member.
Handrail installation device
A handrail installation device, including a first arm removably connected to at least a portion of a stair tread, a second arm pivotally disposed at a first end on at least a portion of the first arm to rotate from retracted in parallel with the first arm in a first position to at least partially extended away from the first arm in a second position, and rotate from extended away from the first arm in the second position to retracted in parallel with the first arm in the first position, and a bubble level disposed on at least a portion of the second arm to identify a level surface based on a position of at least one of the first arm and the second arm.

Cove base roll dolly
The cove base roll dolly is adapted for use in transporting objects. The cove base roll dolly is adapted for use in the transporting of cove base rolls. The cove base roll is further defined with as a spool of material loaded on the drum of a spool. The cove base roll is adapted for use in the distribution of the cove base. Wherein the cove base roll is distributed by unrolling the material off the spool. The cove base roll dolly receives the cove base roll for use in the distribution of the cove base off the cove base roll. The cove base roll dolly is a wheeled device. The cove base roll dolly further comprises a transport base, a slew bearing, a turntable, and a plurality of casters.
TILE SPACING DEVICE AND ACCOMPANYING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A tile spacing device and accompanying system and method are disclosed for spacing multiple tiles. In one embodiment, a central body has four arms extending therefrom with a releasably frangible connection. Each of the four arms has a cellular sheet structure defined by multiple cells, including at least one hexagonal cell. The central body and the four arms provide a four-tile engagement configuration. By selectively breaking and removing an arm, a three-tile engagement configuration may also be provided.
Assemblies and methods for aligning and leveling tiles
A method and assembly for laying and leveling adjacent tiles. The assembly includes a base member having a bottom plate and a cam tool. The cam tool is pivotally combined with the base member so that the cam tool rotates relative to the base member about an axis of rotation. The cam tool has a handle combined with a cam member. The cam member has a tile engaging surface around its outer periphery with a first portion that is a first distance from the axis of rotation and a second portion that is a second distance from the axis of rotation. Rotation of the cam tool around the axis of rotation causes the distance between the tile engaging surface and the bottom plate to change. One or more tiles is adapted to be placed between the tile engaging surface of the cam member and the bottom plate of the base member. The tiles are compressed between the tile engaging surface and the bottom plate as the cam tool is rotated to a desired position.
TOOL FOR PLACEMENT OF MARKINGS
A tool for placement of markings that provides a method of installing window shades and window blinds easily, accurately, and in a manner that saves time and energy. The tool for placement of markings presents novel structures and features that allow for easy, fast and accurate installation of blinds and shades.
DEVICE FOR LEVELING AND ALIGNING TILES AND METHOD FOR LEVELING AND ALIGNING TILES
A device for leveling and aligning tiles and a method for leveling and aligning tiles are disclosed. In one embodiment of the tile leveling device, a body defines a viewing opening. A base is orthogonally coupled to the body with a base to body coupling including a frangible breakaway section. The base and the body are integral prior to frangible separation and the frangible breakaway section, upon breaking, frangibly separates the body from the base. Respective arms are moveably connected to the body opposite the base. Each of the arms may operate from an open position to a closed position where the arm releasably mates one or more tiles.
