Rock processing plant

The invention relates to a rock processing plant (10) having a process unit (20), to which a working platform (30) that can be walked on is assigned, wherein the process unit (20) has a projection (24.5), which protrudes into the working area formed by the working platform (30), wherein the working platform (30) has a fall arrester (35), in particular in the form of a guardrail, and wherein the working platform (30) has a platform widening (33) in the area of the projection (24.5) to create a working area adjacent to the projection (24.5). To improve occupational safety the invention provides that the platform widening (33) has a floor segment (33.1) as a working surface, which is swivel mounted such that it can be folded or swiveled between a folded-down working position, in which the floor segment (33.1) can be walked on, and an upright transport position, that the fall arrester (35) is guided in the area of the platform widening (33), that at least one locking segment (36.6) is directly or indirectly coupled to the floor segment (33.1) in such a way that when the floor segment (33.1) is moved, the locking segment (36.6) is moved, wherein in the transport position the locking segment (36.6) blocks the access to the projection (24.5) at least in some areas and in the working position the locking segment (36.6) is moved out of the access area.

ERECTED PLATFORM

A platform erected by adding an other platform portion to an existing platform portion, as illustrated in FIGS. 20 to 23, by holding a first other truss adjacent decking of the existing portion, connecting ends of sides of the first other truss and a first existing truss with a first pin, swinging the first other truss about the first pin, and connecting ends of other sides of the first other truss and first existing truss with a second pin. In order to similarly connect a second other truss to a second existing truss, the first pin is removed and the first other truss is swung out of the way. After the second other truss is connected to the second existing truss, the first other truss is swung back into position and the first pin re-inserted. Decking is applied to the first and second other trusses.

LANDING GEAR PLATFORM

A landing gear platform is positionable between rearward and forward tires on one side of an aircraft landing gear and rearward and forward tires on the opposite side of the aircraft landing gear. The platform includes a pair of chocks that engage between the rearward and forward tires on the one side of the aircraft landing gear and the rearward and forward tires on the opposite side of the aircraft landing gear and prevent the tires from rotating. A panel spans over the tops of the pair of chocks. A top surface of the panel can be reached by a worker using a stepstool, enabling the worker to stand on the top surface of the panel when performing work on the landing gear above the rearward and forward tires of the aircraft landing gear.

Arrangement in boom system

An arrangement in a boom system, specifically in a forest machine, includes at least two interlinked boom parts and at least one power transmission connected to the boom parts for moving the boom parts in relation to each other and the environment. The boom part includes an elongated body with a hollow structure and at least one set of joints intersected by turning axles for attaching the boom part to an adjacent structure, and at least one set of attachments for attaching an actuator controlling the boom system to the body, whereby at least one boom part is formed as a uniform, hollow piece made of fluid material. The cross-section of the body is made to cinch toward the midpoint of the body.

In an example, the assembly has a support structure configured as a frame having configured by a first and second anchoring region. In an example, the support structure is configured from a thickness of metal material. In an example, the support structure is configured in an upright manner, and has a major plane region. In an example, the assembly has a pivot device configured on the support structure, a torque tube suspending on the pivot device and aligned within an opening of the support, and configured to be normal to the plane region. In an example, the torque tube is configured on the pivot device to move about an arc in a first direction or in a second direction such that the first direction is in a direction opposite to the second direction.

Victim retrieval system, method and appratus

A victim retrieval apparatus for use with a vehicle. In some embodiments, the rescue basket comprises one or more wheels. The articulating head of the boom comprises a rotatable pulley for receiving the rescue line and is able to allow the vehicle to be parked in any position necessary while rescuing the victim. A knot-passing pulley enables a safety line (with emergency brake device) to be coupled to the basket thereby ensuring the safety of the victim in the basket at all times. The rescue basket comprises a remote control for controlling the winch speed that is able to be located at the winch itself, or be of a hand-held nature and attached at the rescue basket instead of at the vehicle if visual contact is problematic.
