Modular Fall Protection System
20190352920 · 2019-11-21 ·

A modular fall protection system has an adjustable frame that can be mounted onto an external structure and used to support the weight of a user who has fallen. The adjustable frame has a length-adjustable mast, set of connective braces, and an anchor point. The length-adjustable mast is a telescoping post that can be extended or collapsed to provide fall protection to the user at various heights. The connective braces extend between the length-adjustable mast and the external structure and are used to maintain the length-adjustable mast in an orientation that facilitates suspending the user in the air after a fall. The anchor point enables the user to be tethered to the length-adjustable post. Preferably, the system has a detachable walkway and handrail that can be mounted onto the adjustable frame and provide fall protection in a variety of situations.

Drywall scaffold roller lift to lift heavy drywall or other materials from the ground up onto a scaffold with less heavy lifting
20190345726 · 2019-11-14 ·

Currently, a drywaller on the ground physically lifts the 100+ pound sheet of drywall up to the person on the scaffold, who then has to lift/pull the 100+ pound sheet of drywall up onto the scaffold to hang on the wall. Both people must use their arms, shoulders and back to lift the drywall, and the man on the scaffold sometimes uses his foot to slide the drywall up onto the scaffold. The DSR eliminates this unsafe lifting procedure by providing a rolling mechanism to roll the sheet of drywall instead of lifting. It takes most of the heavy weight of the drywall off the workers, making it safer and easier, which may reduce the number of arm, shoulder, back and foot injuries from manually lifting the heavy sheet of drywall from the ground up onto the scaffold. It is an inexpensive way for drywall companies to more likely than not reduce the number of workplace injuries and worker's compensation claims.

Climbing device having a climbing rail
10465398 · 2019-11-05 · ·

A climbing device is proposed having at least one climbing rail (14) for adjusting and/or climbing a scaffolding and/or a formwork and/or a platform, at least one climbing shoe (15, 16) being arranged on the climbing rail (14), at least one hydraulic cylinder (2) comprising at least one drive piston (10), arranged in a cylinder housing (12), and having a hydraulic fluid being provided for raising the climbing shoe (15, 16) and/or the climbing rail (14) and/or the scaffolding and/or the formwork and/or the platform, which at least partially avoids or at least reduces the disadvantages of the prior art. According to the invention this is achieved in that the hydraulic cylinder (2) is embodied as a hydraulic unit (1), the hydraulic unit (1) comprising at least one hydraulic tank (5) for storing hydraulic fluid, an electric motor (3) and a hydraulic pump (4) driven by the electric motor (3) for pressurizing the hydraulic fluid.

SCAFFOLDING SYSTEM FOR USE WITH CURVILINEAR WALLS AND METHOD OF USE

Systems and methods for scaffolding systems for use with curvilinear walls, particularly to fit about the curved wall of a holding tank and to be readily moved to varying heights of the holding talk wall.

Triple Latching Horizontal Scaffold Member With Three Triggers
20190330864 · 2019-10-31 · ·

A horizontal scaffold member having a primary end connector and a secondary end connector. Each end connector is configured to couple to a cup or rosette on a vertical scaffold member. Each end connector includes a wedge assembly having a handle and a wedge, movable with respect to the connector to a latched and unlatched position. The primary wedge assembly has a primary and tertiary handles, with the tertiary handles connected to the secondary wedge assembly by a cable, and configured so that moving the primary and tertiary handles simultaneously to an unlatched position also moves the secondary wedge assembly to an unlatched position.

Mobile access unit and cage

Fall restraint equipment comprising a mobile access unit having a mobile platform portion, a ladder portion, and a cage portion. The components of the fall restraint equipment are formed from butterflying, lasering, cutting, bending, and/or stamping continuous pieces of tubular and sheet metal. The components of the mobile access unit are modular and include adapters of varying height that cause the mobile access unit to exhibit varying height. Also, the mobile access unit is adaptable so that it can roll in a first direction of orientation of the ladder or a second direction perpendicular to the first direction.

Adjustable platform extension bracket for work platform systems and related methods

An adjustable platform extension bracket for work platform systems comprises a post member having two posts joined by a plurality of positional structures. A first connection portion forms a first channel such that the first connection portion is symmetrical along an axis parallel with and passing through the channel. The post member is slidingly engaged in the first channel such that at least one of the positional structures is positionable in the channel. The bracket does not require any diagonal support. The dimensions of work platforms, particularly suspended work platform systems, may be extended using the adjustable platform extension bracket.
