Concrete reinforcement assembly
There is proposed a reinforced concrete structure comprising a reinforcement assembly embedded therein, the reinforcement assembly including first and second lengths of chain, wherein the first and second lengths of chain being pretensionable prior to forming the concrete structure. The reinforcement assembly includes pretensionable member/s and/or resiliently deformable member/s intermediate of at least one tetherable end of the lengths of chain and a mounting block or link member.
CURB WALL FORMING APPARATUS AND METHOD OF FORMING A CURB WALL
Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a curb wall forming apparatus and method for forming a curb wall without causing damage to the adjacent concrete floor. In various embodiments, the curb wall forming apparatus includes one or more floor plates, one or more curb side wall forming panel supports, one or more stanchions, one or more end plates, one or more wall attachment plates, and one or more curb side wall forming panels which are used together to enable a curb wall to be formed. These components can be used together to enable a curb wall to be formed on a floor adjacent to an upstanding wall without causing damage to the wall or the area of the floor adjacent to the formed curb wall. The floor plates, the curb side wall forming panel supports, the stanchions, the end plates, and the wall attachment plates remain as part of the formed curb wall.

STABILIZING A CONCRETE FORM
A device for stabilizing a concrete form includes an anchoring member with a channel aligned along a first axis, and elongate members with cavities aligned along a second axis, the elongate members coupled to form a frame. The device may include an anchoring post for insertion through the channel of the anchoring member to secure the device to a surface, and sliders with elongate bodies for insertion into the cavities of the elongate members, where the sliders are affixed to an engagement member structurally configured for engaging the concrete form. First retaining members may be structurally configured to engage the anchoring post when inserted through the channel of the anchoring member thereby maintaining a position of the frame along the first axis. Second retaining members may be structurally configured to engage a slider when inserted into the elongate member thereby maintaining a position of the slider along the second axis.
CONCRETE RUNWAYS, ROADS, HIGHWAYS AND SLABS ON GRADE AND METHODS OF MAKING SAME
The invention comprises a method of forming a slab on grade. The method comprises placing a first layer of insulating material horizontally on the ground and placing plastic concrete for a slab on grade on the first layer of insulating material. The plastic concrete is then formed into a desired shape having a top and sides. A second layer of insulating material is placed on the top of the plastic concrete and the first and second layers of insulating material are left in place until the concrete is at least partially cured. The second layer of insulating material is then removed. The product made by the method is also disclosed. A slab on grade is also disclosed.
Apparatus for electronic temperature controlled curing of concrete
The invention comprises a method of forming a concrete structure or object. The method comprises detecting the temperature of a quantity of curing concrete and selectively adding heat to the curing concrete, so that the temperature of the curing concrete follows a predetermined temperature profile during at least a portion of the concrete curing process. Apparatus for performing the method is also disclosed.
