Bracket for positioning and protecting pipes in concrete
A bracket holds a rigid or flexible tube during the pouring of a concrete slab. The bracket has a base and a housing connected to the base. The tube curves around a first tube support on the housing before passing through an opening in the bottom of the housing. The tube and any members inside the tube are cut off so they end inside the housing and are then covered by a housing cap. The base is fastened to a form for the concrete slab. The height of the housing relative to the base is adjusted to place the cap at the planned surface of the concrete slab. After the concrete slab is formed the cap is removed and the cut members inside the housing are connected to other members or devices.
Flow channel form design for manhole assemblies
The present disclosure is generally directed to processes and apparatuses for use in forming one or more flow channels within a prefabricated manhole assembly. More specifically, an exemplary apparatus embodying various aspects of the disclosure may contain a rigid channel form with a closed top portion, a curved bottom portion, a first end, and a second end. The apparatus may also contain a bung(s) removably positioned into an exterior hole through a sidewall of the prefabricated manhole that may receive one end of the channel form, the bung(s) interior end may further have an open-ended U-shaped slot. A sliding wedge may be used to engaged/disengage the flow channel form.

Apparatus and methods for creating openings in materials that solidify
An apparatus and method for creating openings in a material that solidifies is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a rigid board and at least one rigid retainer plate. The rigid retainer plate comprises at least one buoyancy plate to resist the buoyant force of the material that solidifies, at least one hydrostatic plate to resist the hydrostatic force of the material that solidifies, and a retainer tie. The rigid board further comprises retainer plate slots configured to accept the retainer plates. When the apparatus is in use, the retainer plates are inserted into the retainer plate slots and the retainer ties are coupled to formwork panels. The material that solidifies is then poured into the gap between the formwork panels. Once the material is solidified, the formwork panels are removed and the apparatus can be either reused or thrown out. The apparatus may be used with any material that solidifies.

Can plaza and process for making the same
A can plaza assembly is configured to provide electrical distribution at a location. The can plaza has a box, further comprising a side wall opening and joined to a lid. A plurality of cans is arranged inside the can plaza. Conduits project outward from each can. Fittings are joined to the conduit and extend through the side wall opening of the box. Foam fills the box around the cans and the conduits, such that the foam does not completely cover the cans. Rebar is arranged twelve inches on center each way from the cans on top of the foam. Concrete fills upon the rebar and foam up to an upper edge of the can. Electrical wires are routed through the conduits and cans provide the electrical distribution at the location.
