Crane system incorporated into a tower
09657495 · 2017-05-23 ·

A crane system includes a structural truss positioned within a central opening defined by an inside surface of an annular tower, a crane mast connected to an outside surface of the annular tower, and a jib arm connected to the crane mast.

Paulownia based fenestration structures

The fenestration structures include external frame segments facing the interior and exterior surfaces of a building wall, and an internal frame segment sandwiched between the external frame segments. The external frame segments are made from a relatively hard, dense and/or resilient material, such as hard wood, while the internal frame segment is made from paulownia which is a moisture-resistant, dimensionally stable thermal barrier material. The external frame segments therefore provide durable and attractive exterior and interior surfaces of the fenestration frame, while the internal paulownia segment provides superior resistance to thermal transfer across the frame, while also remaining dimensionally stable across a variety of moisture and temperature levels. Internal paulownia segments may be positioned around the entire periphery of the fenestration frame to create a comprehensive thermal barrier.

METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING BUILDING THROUGH GRAVITY AND WEIGHT OF THE BUILDING STRUCTURE

A method for constructing a building structure using gravity and weight of the building structure is provided. The method includes designing an architecture and a construction plan of the building structure, planning an initial box for a structural design, tuning a ground required for construction of the building structure, constructing the initial box as per the planning, constructing an upper floor on the initial box, constructing remaining parts of the building structure including foundation for the building structure, and assembling a plurality of temporary structures to the building structure.

Bricklaying

There is provided a portable apparatus (10) for supporting and carrying a brick structure (22). The portable apparatus (10) includes a base (12) that is configured to carry, in use, the brick structure (22). The portable apparatus (10) also includes a position assembly (14) that has one or more position members (16). The or each position member (16) is configured to define, in use, a first layout for a plurality of bricks of the brick structure (22).

Door buck
09611687 · 2017-04-04 ·

A pre-manufactured door buck or a kit of parts is used to install a pre-sized door buck in a wall that allows a standard sized door to be installed. The door buck can include a pair of side members and a header member. Each side member can have an aperture passing through the side member. The header member can have a first end with a first tenon and a second end with a second tenon. The door buck is constructed by inserting the first tenon and the second tenon through the apertures in the side members and secured in place. The assembled door buck defines a pre-determined sized opening in which a door can be installed.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR LIFTING AND SLIDING A STRUCTURE ATTACHED TO THE WALL

An apparatus for lifting and sliding a structure to be attached to a wall of a building, including a lifting platform extending outwardly from the building, and a synchronous lifting and sliding system which is arranged on the lifting platform. The lifting platform has two platform beams extending outwardly from the building, and a lifting beam placed on the platform beams. The synchronous lifting and sliding system has a hydraulic lifter arranged on the lifting beam, a hydraulic jack connected to the lifting beam, and a controller. A connecting rod is connected to one end of the hydraulic jack, and several installing holes are arranged at regular intervals on the connecting rod. The distance between the adjacent installing holes of the connecting rod matches a stroke of the hydraulic jack. An installing ear-plate is provided on the platform beam to connect with the connecting rod.

Compound holding device for retaining tools
09598872 · 2017-03-21 ·

A compound-holding device for use with a working material in one embodiment comprising a plate having a top and a bottom surface. A magnet for retaining tools is mounted on the bottom surface of the plate. In another embodiment of the invention, the handle is hollow and a magnet is placed inside the handle for retaining elongated tools such as screwdrivers within the handle. Other retaining means are threading, a clip or a locking pin system. In another embodiment a pan is disclosed having a bottom surface and sides extending upwardly and outwardly therefrom. Magnets for retaining tools are mounted on the sides of the pan for holding tools. A magnet-free zone enables holding by hand without interference of protruding magnets.

Non-bearing modular construction system
09593478 · 2017-03-14 · ·

Methods and apparatus facilitate the construction of a building using prefabricated building units, each having a horizontal upper exterior surface and a plurality of vertical wall surfaces, wherein at least some of the prefabricated building units have at least one hollow column formwork structure. The prefabricated building units are lowered onto a pre-existing base at a construction site. A first story of the building is created by arranging a plurality of the prefabricated building units adjacent to each other on the base. Structural bearing material is applied to fill the hollow column formwork structures to create structural columns connected to the structural deck. Structural bearing material is applied to the horizontal upper exterior surfaces of the adjacent prefabricated building units to create a single structural deck over the prefabricated building units.

Fixture support for membrane roof
