MODULAR DWELLING CONSTRUCTED FROM VERTICALLY ORIENTED INTERMODAL CONTAINERS
The present disclosure is directed to a modular dwelling constructed from intermodal containers. Particularly, the present disclosure is directed to a dwelling constructed from vertically oriented shipping containers. The dwelling may include a foundation and two or more intermodal containers disposed on and secured to the foundation. The intermodal containers may be separated by an interstitial space. The interstitial space may be fully or partially enclosed by a plurality of connector walls. Each intermodal container includes a top, a bottom, and four side walls One of the side walls may be a reinforced side wall. The reinforced side wall of one of the intermodal containers may extend parallel or perpendicular to one or more of the reinforced side walls of other intermodal containers. The dwelling may be divided into one or more rooms, floors, or apartments and may have doors, windows, appliances, a deck, or other common features.
VOLUMETRIC MODULAR UNIT FOR MODULAR BUILDING CONSTRUCTION
A volumetric modular unit constructed at a modular unit factory and shipped assembled to a modular building project site is disclosed. A modular building constructed from shipped volumetric modular units is also disclosed. Features of a volumetric modular unit and modular building are designed to account for and leverage traditional building practices. Shipping constraints often dictate volumetric modular unit design constraints. The volumetric modular unit and modular constructed building addresses both design needs and shipping constraints to leverage more economical resources available at a volumetric modular unit manufacturing plant.
PORTABLE ENCLOSED-STRUCTURE DEPLOYMENT SYSTEM
A portable enclosed-structure deployment system configured to be stored and deployed from within a shipping container. A floor support system including a plurality of floor panels is disposed in the shipping container proximate to a bottom surface of the shipping container. The plurality of floor panels withdraw from an open side of the shipping container. A plurality of wall panels are stored in the shipping container above the plurality of floor panels. The plurality of wall panels are withdrawn from the open side of the shipping container subsequent to the plurality of floor panels being withdrawn from the shipping container. A roof system includes a plurality of roof panels supported on a rack in the shipping container above the plurality of wall panels. The plurality of roof panels slideably withdraw from the shipping container subsequent to the plurality of wall panels being withdrawn from the shipping container.
NON-BEARING MODULAR CONSTRUCTION SYSTEM
Methods and apparatus facilitate the construction of a building using prefabricated building units, each having a horizontal upper exterior surface and a plurality of vertical wall surfaces, wherein at least some of the prefabricated building units have at least one hollow column formwork structure. The prefabricated building units are lowered onto a pre-existing base at a construction site. A first story of the building is created by arranging a plurality of the prefabricated building units adjacent to each other on the base. Structural bearing material is applied to fill the hollow column formwork structures to create structural columns connected to the structural deck. Structural bearing material is applied to the horizontal upper exterior surfaces of the adjacent prefabricated building units to create a single structural deck over the prefabricated building units.
ALL-IN-ONE HOMELESS CARE AND REHAB FACILITY
A system and method for providing an All-in-One Homeless Care and Rehabilitation Facility is disclosed. This facility provides spaces to address the initial need to provide living space for its residents including living space, meals, showers and bathroom accommodations, and the needed infrastructure to operate. The facility will provide basic minor health care on-site rehabilitative care for the those addicted to drugs and alcohol; including on-site psychological counseling and prescription medicines as proscribed for the needs affecting the homeless. Any one that exhibits ill health after admission, will be referred to 911 services, on their own, or by Staff. Lastly, the facilities provide services to address social issues that also prevent the members of this population from obtaining a job, securing a place to live, and otherwise provide for themselves. The social services include treatment for substance abuse problems, and any additional education and training needed by the residents. The present invention includes facilities and services to address all of these needs in a single, temporary location that addresses all of the existing limitations for existing facilities providing services to homeless individuals.

MODULAR CONFIGURABLE HOSPITAL SYSTEM AND METHOD
A modular configurable hospital system is provided. The system comprises at least one unit. The system is configured with at least one patient care unit, which comprises at least one of a patient care room and a ward. The patient care units are sealably configured into at least one patient care section, and arranged end to end. A support care section, having at least one support care unit, may be provided for providing space for working, storage and other services for those working in the system. The system may be sealably configured in numerous combinations to adapt to the immediate needs of the situation, and installed indoors and in the external environment. A method of operation of the system is provided.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MODULAR CONSTRUCTION
A building module for use in construction of a building comprising a deck oriented in a horizontal plane and a plurality of hollow structural members extending downwardly from around a periphery of the deck. A method of constructing a building comprising placing a plurality of prefabricated modules according to a floor plan to form a story of the building, pouring concrete into the hollow structural members of the plurality of modules to form structural columns, pouring concrete onto the decks of the plurality of prefabricated modules for form structural slabs, and allowing the structural columns and structural slabs to set to complete the story of the building. Embodiments include a plurality of techniques for sealing adjacent prefabricated modules and for installing a balcony on the prefabricated modules.
Cantilevered Mezzanine for modular jail cell
A modular jail cell comprising a flat ceiling member connected to a front wall of the cell where a cantilevered mezzanine having a floor member is interconnected to the ceiling member at the junction of the ceiling member and the front wall.
Modular Commercial Structure
A modular commercial structure for use on a floor in an area having an electric power source coupled thereto includes a first exterior module and a second exterior module, a conveyance mechanism and a distribution system. The first exterior module and the second exterior module each defines an interior space therein. The conveyance mechanism selectively facilitates movement the modules so that the modular commercial structure has a first configuration in which the modules are brought together to prevent access to the interior spaces and so that the modular commercial structure has a second configuration in which the modules are spaced apart sufficiently to provide access to the interior spaces therein. The distribution system distributes electric power to the electrical wiring system of each module.
