Waterproofing method for outdoor tank
The present invention relates to a waterproofing method for an outdoor tank, the waterproofing method being characterized in that the boundary portion between the bottom of the outdoor tank installed on a foundation and the foundation is covered in a liquid tight manner by a waterproof sheet adhered so as to extend from the outdoor tank to the foundation. The present invention can provide a waterproofing method which is effective to prevent the entry of rain water into the boundary portions between the bottoms of outdoor tanks and the foundations, most of the outdoor tanks being large tanks mainly installed in oil refineries or the like. This waterproofing method for an outdoor tank can more reliably waterproof the bottom side of the outdoor tank using the simple method.
Non-bearing modular construction system
Methods and apparatus facilitate the construction of a building using prefabricated building units, each having a horizontal upper exterior surface and a plurality of vertical wall surfaces, wherein at least some of the prefabricated building units have at least one hollow column formwork structure. The prefabricated building units are lowered onto a pre-existing base at a construction site. A first story of the building is created by arranging a plurality of the prefabricated building units adjacent to each other on the base. Structural bearing material is applied to fill the hollow column formwork structures to create structural columns connected to the structural deck. Structural bearing material is applied to the horizontal upper exterior surfaces of the adjacent prefabricated building units to create a single structural deck over the prefabricated building units.
Composite elevated tank and method of construction
A composite elevated storage tank for smaller capacities having an improved anchorage connecting the steel tank to the reinforced concrete pedestal. The anchorage includes tank anchor assemblies and an insulator at a top surface of the concrete pedestal, with anchors embedded in the concrete. The steel tank includes a skirt and base plates welded to a bottom cone section of the tank. The skirt, base plates, and tank anchor assemblies enable the steel tank and the reinforced concrete pedestal to be constructed on-site simultaneously.

Drain for a pool
An inflatable pool is includes a floor drain having a drainage conduit and two sealing plug. The drainage conduit includes a midsection pipe having an oblong cross section, an inlet cap having a truncated profile, and an outlet cap that transitions from the oblong profile of the midsection to a cylindrical profile.
Storage tank bottom corrosion protection system
A system for protecting storage tank soil side bottoms against corrosion includes a pipe system comprising non-perforated inlet pipes and perforated pipes connected thereto. A sleeve container having solid VCI compounds therein is inserted into the perforated pipes. The sleeves are permeable to vapors emitted by the solid VCI compounds and flow through the pipe to a perforation where they are admitted into an area beneath a storage tank so that they can contact the tank bottom (soil side) and protect the same from corrosion. Alternatively, solid SCI compounds can be used in combination with VCI compounds. The corrosion protection system is designed to be used with aboveground storage tanks. This includes, but is not limited to, single bottom tanks: newly installed or existing tanks undergoing bottom replacement or installation of double bottoms. These tanks are located on substrates such as the compacted soil/sand or hard substrates such as concrete, bitumen mixtures and asphalt where channels can be cut into the substrate for installation of the pipe system.

Method for constructing cylindrical tank
A method for constructing a cylindrical tank which has a metallic inner tank and a concrete outer tank includes a step of building up a PC wall in an outer circumferential edge portion of a base plate, a step of assembling an outer tank roof on the base plate other than the outer circumferential edge portion of the base plate, a step of lifting the outer tank roof which is on the base plate using a jack-up unit while the PC wall is being built up and then holding the outer tank roof on the PC wall, and a step of assembling the inner tank independently of the outer tank roof in a space under the outer tank roof which is created due to the lifting.
