Canopy structure and a wind turbine
Provided is a canopy structure for a nacelle of a wind turbine, including at least one side and a plurality of standard panels which all have the same length and the same width, wherein the at least one side is at least partly formed from the plurality of standard panels, and wherein each standard panel includes a flange which runs only along one edge of the standard panel. Advantageously, the canopy structure including the standard panels is able to reduce the need of a high number of different canopy parts. The amount of different types of molds or tools for producing the standard panels is reduced which leads to a more cost-effective production of the canopy structure.
Support member for supporting electrical power lines
A support system for supporting power distribution or transmission lines includes a support pole having a first end and a second and a crossarm attached to the support pole, proximate the first end of the support pole. The crossarm has a first end, a second end and one or more side walls extending between the first and second ends of the crossarm. The side walls of the crossarm define an elongated interior space. The support system further includes an internal conduit formed in the interior space of the crossarm. The internal conduit extends along an axial direction of the crossarm. The internal conduit is made from insulative material.
Pole base cabinet
This disclosure relates to pole bases, specifically to light pole base cabinets that can house items. The pole base cabinets can be positioned between a light pole and a footing. The pole base cabinets provide a base to a light pole while adding additional functionality. The cabinets can include a main opening allowing access to a cavity in which items can be stored. Access to the cavity can be restricted with a door that uncovers and covers the main opening. The pole base cabinets can include support panels, internal stiffening panels, external stiffening panels, support tabs, flanges, tabs, a peripheral wall, and other features to provide structural support and enclose the contents in the pole base cabinet.
Seismic support structure
Embodiments of the disclosure can include systems and methods for providing a seismic support structure for electrical equipment, including low voltage or high voltage electrical equipment and power transmission equipment, to be supported above a surface, such as the ground or a foundation.
BOLT CALIBRATED ANGLE MAINSTAY WALL CONNECTION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR USE
The present invention provides a system which allows users to mount multiple pieces of equipment to a tower and it has the unique capability to adjust a steel frame to level without additional equipment. In accordance with a first preferred embodiment, the present invention includes a duel locking system that includes a taper adjusting bolt to adjustably position the frame level with the earth. According to still further aspects of the present invention, the present invention further includes attachable wall section elements which include at least upper and lower lateral spanning elements having first and securing weldments which preferably may integrally connect to the adjustable frame elements of the present invention. According to still further aspects of the present invention, the present invention preferably further includes upper and lower weldment connecting plates which are preferably connected to and extend from the upper and lower lateral spanning elements.
Fast-rope training apparatus
A training apparatus for fast-rope training includes a platform-supporting structure having one or more containers and at least one platform configured for use in fast-rope training. At least one attachment is provided for attaching a fast-rope. The platform-supporting structure is supportable by a surface. The at least one attachment Is located higher than the platform and spaced laterally from the platform-supporting structure such that the at least one attachment overhangs the surface so a fast rope can hang from the at least one attachment, past the platform and toward the surface.
