A tent system includes a base system, a canopy, and one or more interconnecting members. The base system includes a first base member configured to mount to a vehicle, a second base member, and a hinge pivotally attaching the first base member to the second base member. The canopy includes a flexible membrane having a membrane edge and a canopy fastener coupled to at least a portion of the membrane edge and configured to mate with an interconnecting member fastener. The one or more interconnecting members include an interconnecting member body defining a first longitudinal edge and a second longitudinal edge, an attachment member, and the interconnecting member fastener attached to the interconnecting member body along the second longitudinal edge and configured to mate with a plurality of different canopy fasteners.

SHADING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USE

A system for providing shade onto a surface is described herein. The system includes a canopy configured for engagement with, and aerial suspension by, a frame. The frame includes a plurality of sections configured for end-to-end alignment from a left end to a right end of the frame. Each section is configured to engage with any adjacent sections to form the frame. The ends of the frame are secured to the surface, thereby aerially suspending the canopy and providing shade to the surface.

Portable Cover Structure

A portable cover structure includes a pair of flexible poles that are disposed in a generally parallel fashion, and a sunscreen that is attached to the poles on opposed sides thereof, so that the sunscreen is stretched between the poles. One end of each bendable pole may be removably attached to a structure, such as a dock, and the other end of each pole is preferably connected to an adjustable strap or cord. The distal end of the strap or cord may be attached to a dock, a cleat or a boat, and may include a snap-fit mechanism for such removable attachment. The cover structure may alternate between a first position over a dock and a second position over a boat, as desired. When not in use, the portable cover structure may be disassembled and stored in a bag or container.

Provided is a hybrid shelter comprising multiple rigid panels or panel sections comprising a floor section, a roof section, two side-wall sections, and two end-wall sections; a water-resistant soft-shell; and a case. The shelter is transitionable between an expanded configuration in which the side-wall sections and the end-wall sections are vertical and perpendicular to the floor section and a collapsed configuration in which the rigid panels and the soft-shell are folded or hinged and fully enclosed in the case. The soft-shell covers one or both sides of the roof section, the side-wall sections and the end-wall sections of the rigid panels in the expanded configuration.
