A modular shelter pod and system are described herein. In one example, a pod may be formed by a number of foldable or detachable panels, where a first panel includes at least four cavities at first locations having a first shape and a first cross section. A second panel may include at least four tabs at second locations corresponding to the first locations, and having a second shape and a second cross section that fits into and engages the at least four first cavities, such that the at least four tabs engage the at least four cavities to resist movement between different pods when arranged vertically. The pod may additionally include a third panel removably connecting the first panel and the second panel and forming an opening defining a cleaning port that is sealable, where the cleaning port is shaped to removably engage a cleaning device.

A sunshade device and management system for mitigating the effects of climate change and direct and prolonged exposure to the sun, the sunshade device including a reflective canopy attached to a collapsible web or frame structure. The sunshade device is positioned above the ground by a combination of lifting balloons and positioning machines for managing the elevation, shape and geolocation of the sunshade device. A sunshade management system controls the status of the sunshade device, and can collapse and ground the sunshade in the evening, or during rainy weather, or cloudy days, or when severe weather-related events, such as thunderstorms, tornados, hurricane, etc. are anticipated, and can relaunch the sunshade device when such conditions have passed.

The subject matter described herein includes a transportable, self-sustaining house or structure for use in disaster relief comprising, a substantially rectangular, steel living section, a water tank connected to and placed on top of the occupied area, a sewer tank connected to and placed below the occupied area, a plurality of solar panels on top of the water tank, a plurality of lines configured for transferring fluid from the water tank to the occupied area and from the water tank to the sewage tank, a plurality of lines configured for transferring waste from the occupied area to the sewage section, wherein, in operation the structure is transported with a substantially empty water tank and charged battery.

A field deployable soundproof booth for remote audio dubbing including a collapsible support structure onto which a plurality of soundproof material sections are attached after the support structure has been assembled into a deployed position; and an audio dubbing system for recording and managing audio files, including: a video display system, an audio recording system, an audio and video file management system, and a communication system for transmitting audio and video files over the internet. The soundproofing material that is attached to the deployed support structure may preferably be a plurality of triangular acoustic foam sections that are attached to the support structure by hook and loop fasteners prior to use.

A pop up cover for a crib is provided for providing a safe, comfortable and isolated environment for a child in a crib. The pop-up cover may be made of breathable fabric panels having an integrated frame, for example a flexible frame, which can be folded (collapsed) on itself, for example when folded in specific ways if appropriate force is applied and which keeps the fabric in a taught, open position when unfolded (preventing the panels form falling inwards onto each other). A method and apparatus for hunting that enables hunters to remain concealed while still maneuvering with the blind constructed in an in-use configuration and without disturbing quarry. The hunting blind comprises a portable, collapsible, lightweight, pop-up frame enabling the gamesmen to gain closer proximity to small and large game while permitting movement during use without detection. When not in use, the frame of the hunting blind collapses into a compact, transportable configuration that slides into a carrying bag for easy transport. The hunting blind of the present invention offers 360 degrees of concealment, comfortably concealing two hunters. The blind comprises a cover adapted to swathe the frame and create a taut surface against which camouflage may be installed for concealment in a plurality of horizontal rows providing mechanisms for staggering the placement of camouflage on the cover to further enhance concealment.

Mesh material is presented for a hunting blind with a camouflage pattern printed on a first side and a second side with a color coating. The mesh material is partially transmissive such that a portion of incident radiation from an exterior of the hunting blind is reflected back into the exterior, a portion of incident radiation from an interior of the hunting blind is transmitted through the mesh material to the exterior and an intensity ratio of the reflected portion to the transmitted portion during daylight conditions is above a threshold value such that the exterior of the hunting blind is visible from the interior and the interior of the hunting blind is not visible from an exterior of the hunting blind. A hunting blind is also provided that includes a frame including frame members and panels of the mesh material attached to the frame members.

A system for providing shade onto a surface is described herein. The system includes a canopy configured for engagement with, and aerial suspension by, a frame. The frame includes a plurality of sections configured for end-to-end alignment from a left end to a right end of the frame. Each section is configured to engage with any adjacent sections to form the frame. The ends of the frame are secured to the surface, thereby aerially suspending the canopy and providing shade to the surface.
