PERSONAL POP-UP PODS
Disclosed herein are novel personal pop-up pods designed for a single user. In one embodiment, a personal pop-up pod can provide a user with privacy and/or protection from the surrounding environment. The personal pop-up pods can be designed such that a user can remain mobile, i.e., able to move from one location to another while using a personal pop-up pod. The personal pop-up pods can be designed such that a user can selectively gain access to the environment surrounding the pop-up pod by opening windows and other points of access. The personal pop-up pods can protect the user form a variety of conditions surrounding the personal pop-up pods such as, for example, rain, snow, wind, low temperatures, and other such climate related elements or communicable diseases and other such health risks.
Urban hide screen for surveillance operations in urban environments
Embodiments are directed to a hide screen for surveillance operations in urban environments. The hide screen may include a netting panel, a plurality of sleeves, and a plurality of frame poles. One or more of the sleeves may be coupled to the netting panel. The frame poles may be insertable into the sleeves to tension the netting panel.
PORTABLE AND MODULAR FIELD BLIND SYSTEM
Portable hunting blind for concealing and facilitating exit of hunter. Portable hunting blind including blind side panel and blind top panel. Blind side panel includes front panel, rear panel, and end panels removably mounted to front panel. Each of the front panel, rear panel and end panels includes legs. Blind top panel includes front top panel and rear top panel pivotally mounted to center brackets mounted to end panels. Portable hunting blind includes blind secured around blind side panel to envelope blind side panel for camouflaging hunter, and blind top mounted over blind top panel for concealing hunter from above. Front top panel comprising blind top is thrown back over rear top panel to impede rear exit for hunter, and to allow hunter to demount front panel and open front panel outward as a gate to exit portable hunting blind. Rear top panel is operated similarly to allow hunter to exit from back of portable hunting blind.
VEHICLE TENT
Disclosed herein are embodiments of a roof top tent system, that can include a lower frame portion coupleable with a bed of a truck, an upper frame portion coupleable with the lower frame portion, a platform assembly coupleable with the upper frame portion of the frame assembly, including an upper platform portion, a lower platform portion coupleable with the upper frame portion of the frame assembly along a first end portion of the lower and upper platform portions, and a platform hinge configured to hingedly couple the lower platform portion with the upper platform portion so that the upper platform portion can rotate between a first position in which the upper platform portion is substantially parallel to and adjacent to the lower platform portion and a second position in which the upper platform portion extends at an angle away from the lower platform portion.
Retractable blind assembly
A blind assembly and setup configurations for the blind assembly are disclosed. The blind assembly contains two sheets wound together into a roll that are configured for separate outstretching at an angle relative to each other, for being maintained under tension in an outstretched form, and for retraction back into the roll. The end of each sheet contains a handle rod used for handling the sheets and for anchoring to the ground by means of attaching to stakes inserted into the ground using ropes. The roll end of the assembly structure is likewise attached to a stake in the course of setting up the blind assembly. A tie rod provides added support for the structure and is set up at a distance from the sheet rolls to prevent uncontrolled wraparounds of the sheets when the sheets are retracted.
Modular shelter pods
A modular shelter pod and system are described herein. In one example, a pod may be formed by a number of foldable or detachable panels, where a first panel includes at least four cavities at first locations having a first shape and a first cross section. A second panel may include at least four tabs at second locations corresponding to the first locations, and having a second shape and a second cross section that fits into and engages the at least four first cavities, such that the at least four tabs engage the at least four cavities to resist movement between different pods when arranged vertically. The pod may additionally include a third panel removably connecting the first panel and the second panel and forming an opening defining a cleaning port that is sealable, where the cleaning port is shaped to removably engage a cleaning device.
Equipment Providing Ground Cover and Protection from Dust and Debris
New forms of towels, mats, tarps and other ground-covering sheets, and other devices, systems and methods providing protection from sand, dust, debris, and fluids are provided. In some aspects of the invention, ground covering sheets with an inherent guard, partially around a periphery of the sheets, are provided. In several embodiments, specialized ground-covering sheets are provided with reinforced, specialized sections configured to receive and hold legs, ground stakes and/or other parts related to structures to be mounted in, on or about such ground-covering sheets. In some such embodiments, such reinforced, specialized sections include a matrix of expandable receiving brackets, through which the support legs, ground stakes and/or other parts can penetrate, and reach and obtain direct support from the ground below such ground-covering sheets.
FOLDABLE ROOFTOP SHELTER
A rooftop shelter that can be mounted to a roof of a vehicle and can be quickly and readily assembled and disassembled. The rooftop shelter includes a body and a hinged cover that resembles a suitcase. A roof panel is pivotally coupled to the hinged cover. A left wall panel, a right wall panel, and a front wall panel can be coupled to three respective sides of the body. The body and the hinged cover in the folded state can encase the above four panels. The rooftop shelter can be set up by unfolding the hinged cover and the four panels, wherein the body, hinged cover, roof panel, left panel, right panel, and front panel together form an enclosure. This same structure can use for quick movable ground shelters.
Laptop shade and platform system
A shade and platform device configured to support and partially enclose and shelter a laptop, notebook computer, or other electronic or non-electronic item from sun exposure, allowing users to use their laptop, notebook computer or other electronic or non-electronic item outdoors while reducing screen glare and risk of the sheltered item overheating due to direct sun exposure. The platform component may contain functionality that enables it to fold into a carrying case for the shade, awning, canopy, or hood component. The shade, awning, canopy, or hood component may be collapsed, optionally detached from the platform component, and folded so that it can be compactly secured and stored within the platform case. Furthermore, the platform case may include an attachment element for a stand, such as a tripod, on which the platform case may be supported.
MODULAR HUNTING BLIND
A hunting blind is used for shielding a hunter while allowing the hunter to view and aim a weapon at the hunting target. The hunting blind may include a plurality of panels of the same or different sizes. Each panel may include at least one latch mating element and/or a latch. For assembly, the plurality of panels are placed adjacent to one another with portions of the adjoining panels overlapping. Each latch mating element included on a particular panel corresponds to a latch on an adjacent panel so that the panels can be secured in position.
