Decorative Covering for a Chain Link Fence Post
A decorative covering for a chain link fence post includes a first post cover, a second post cover, a plurality of left chain-link receiving openings, a plurality of right chain-link receiving openings, a left interlocking mechanism, and a right interlocking mechanism. The plurality of left chain-link receiving openings and the plurality of right chain-link receiving openings are oppositely positioned of each other about a sagittal plane of the first post cover to receive chain link fences that outwardly extends from the fence post. The plurality of left chain-link receiving openings terminally traverses into the first post cover. The plurality of right chain-link receiving openings terminally traverses into the first post cover so that the first post cover can extend beyond the chain link fences. The first and second post covers are attached to each other by the left and right interlocking mechanisms thus fully covering the fence post within.
Publicly accessible urban beach entertainment complex with a centerpiece man-made tropical-style lagoon and method for providing efficient utilization of limited use land
A publicly accessible urban beach entertainment complex is disclosed, with a man-made tropical, pristine-clear lagoon as the centerpiece of the complex, with surrounding entertainment, educational, sports, and commercial facilities, the complex having controlled public access and providing the look and feel of a tropical beach with clear waters and sandy beaches. In addition a method for efficiently utilizing facilities and land that are vacant, underutilized, have limited uses, or that are contiguous to or nearby recreational, educational, sports, or commercial venues is disclosed. The method providing a publicly accessible urban beach entertainment complex with a centerpiece man-made tropical-style pristine-clear lagoon. The method allows for generating revenue and increasing efficiency by pairing vacant sites, underutilized sites, limited use land, or sites that are contiguous to entertainment, educational, sports, and/or commercial venues with urban beach entertainment complexes. The complex preferably has a controlled public access, thereby allowing entrance upon payment of a fee.

MEANS OF MOUNTING AND INSTALLING A FABRIC TO PROVIDE A FENCE FOR SEPARATING OIL FROM BODIES OF WATER
Means for easily mounting fabric on stakes or posts and installing a fence that separates oil from water on land, on shorelines, or bodies of water are provided, as are methods of fabricating and methods of deploying such a mounting fabric. A fabric can be securely and easily mounted to stakes or posts to fabricate a fence that separates oil from water. The fabric can be a strong, lightweight fabric for separating spilled oil from water.
Fence Support System
A fence support system includes a catch member having an at least partially D-shaped protrusion and post receiver, and a retainer member having an aperture configured to receive the protrusion. A method of supporting an apertured fence material includes providing a catch member comprising an at least partially D-shaped protrusion extending from a catch plate of the catch member and receiving an end of a vertical support within the catch member, providing a retainer member comprising an aperture configured to receive the protrusion of the catch member, and capturing an apertured fence material between the catch member and the retainer member.
VEHICLE PARKING WITH AUTOMATED GUIDED VEHICLES, VERTICALLY RECIPROCATING CONVEYORS AND SAFETY BARRIERS
A safety barrier assembly is provided for a parking garage is positioned in proximity to an opening for a VRC and includes a horizontal AGV safety beam and upper and lower pedestrian barriers having horizontal railings and vertical legs. The vertical legs are telescoped into openings at opposite ends of the AGV safety beam. The vertical legs of the upper pedestrian barrier are longer than those of the lower pedestrian barrier. The AGV safety beam can be moved vertically between a lower position where the AGV safety beam is substantially adjacent a floor of the parking garage and an upper position where the AGV safety beam is elevated from the floor. The horizontal railings of the pedestrian barriers are parallel to and spaced above the AGV safety beam in the lower position. However, the horizontal railings abut the AGV safety beam in the upper position.
Fence panel
A fence panel comprising a rectangular sheet of mesh material with opposed first and second edges, and opposed third and fourth edges, the sheet being formed with a plurality of spaced apart and parallel channel-shaped reinforcing formations, and a plurality of deterrent components each of which includes an elongate strip of projecting spikes fixed to at least one side of the mesh sheet.
Fence vegetation barrier
A vegetation barrier for use beneath a fence to inhibit the growth of vegetation beneath said fence includes two vegetation barrier members and an intermediate member. Each vegetation barrier member is joinable to a fence post at one end and engages an intermediate member at the opposite end through longitudinally slidable engagement, allowing the vegetation barrier to readily accommodate uneven spacing between fence posts and further allowing the vegetation barrier to expand and contract. The vegetation barrier member and/or the intermediate member may further comprise elongated openings that allow the vegetation barrier to be secured to an underlying surface by a securement member that passes through the elongated opening and into the underlying surface, while still allowing for expansion and contraction of the vegetation barrier. Further provided are methods of covering a surface beneath a fence using said vegetation barrier.
Fence footing
Assemblies and methods for securing an elongate apertured fence to the ground. The fence includes an upper section which is apertured and which extends upwards from the ground, and a lower section which may or may not be apertured and which is not buried in the ground. The lower section is contacted by a footing member which is secured to the ground and which stabilizes the fence along a desired line along the ground. In some embodiments, the lower fence section is parallel to the ground, and at least part of the footing member lies between the lower fence section and the ground.
SUICIDE-PREVENTING FENCE
The present invention relates to a suicide preventing fence, and, according to an embodiment of the present invention, the suicide preventing fence comprises: a plurality of pole parts provided standing upright from the ground surface at predetermined intervals; a plurality of linking parts which are formed in the shape of pipes and horizontally link the spaces between the pole parts; rotating bodies which are formed with an internally hollow abacus bead shape and are provided on the outer circumferential surfaces of the linking parts; bearings which are provided on the outer circumferential surfaces of the linking parts, positioned in the centers on the insides of the rotating bodies; and rotating bolts which are provided on the outer circumferential surfaces of the linking parts and are inserted in through-passing regions on both side surfaces of the rotating bodies so as to rotate together with the rotating bodies. Consequently, the invention makes it possible to prevent suicide since the rotating bodies are provided on the fence and cannot be easily grasped by anyone attempting to pass over same.
