ULTRAVIOLET GERMICIDAL DOOR HANDLE
20230092893 · 2023-03-23 ·

An ultraviolet germicidal door handle includes a germicidal ultraviolet light source mounted at an end of the door handle that includes a capacitive or other MEMS sensor(s) which detects a user's touch or movement operation and initiates activation and timing operation of the ultraviolet germicidal light source. Ultraviolet germicidal light emitted from the light source is directed as a column along a circumferential length of the door handle, thereby providing a germicidal action/effect on all touching surfaces of the door handle.

DOOR HANDLE RATE CONTROLLER
20220341212 · 2022-10-27 ·

A door handle rate controller is disclosed. The door handle rate controller includes a damper assembly operatively connected to a door handle such that a movement of the door handle is dampened. The damper assembly may be a piston and cylinder type damper having a piston and a piston rod mounted within a body for reciprocal movement in the body along its longitudinal axis. The damper assembly extends longitudinally from a damper head to an end of the piston rod. A handle side mount and a mounting bracket may be provided to secure the damper assembly to a first and second portion of the door handle. The handle side mount has a first housing bracket pivotally coupled to the end of the piston rod, and a second housing bracket arranged to pivotally couple to the first portion of the door handle. The mounting bracket is defined by an first opening arranged to receive the damper head, and a second opening arranged to receive the second portion of the door handle. The mounting bracket is pivotally coupled to the damper head.

Removable Hands-Free Door Pull Openers
20220333404 · 2022-10-20 ·

Removable hands-free door pull openers are disclosed that can be attached to doors without penetrating the surface of the door. The door pull opener includes a door clamping portion configured to clamp the free edge of a door that receives a lock, and a hook portion joined to the door clamping portion. The hook portion includes a bend portion and is configured for a person to insert their forearm between one side of the door and the bend portion so that they may pull open a door without touching the door or the door pull opener with their hand. A foot pull door opener is also provided. A door latch bolt cover that covers a door latch bolt is also disclosed.

ACCESSORY DOOR HANDLE

An accessory door handle can be clamped onto an existing door handle currently installed in the door. The accessory door handle can be dedicated for use when an individual is wearing gloves, so that the existing door handle may be reserved for use when not wearing a glove. This decreases the chances of contamination and makes the handles easier to clean. The accessory door handle is suitable for use in laboratory and clean room conditions.

Refrigerator

Disclosed herein is a refrigerator in which the structure of a door is improved. The refrigerator includes a main body having a storage compartment, a door rotatably coupled to the main body to open or close the storage compartment and having a door frame, a coupling member coupled to the door frame, and a door handle coupled with the coupling member in a sliding manner.

System for a hand attached suction cup for the touchless opening of a door

A method and device for the touchless opening of a door includes a finger held or attached suction cup device which is secured to the fingers using a strap and buckle. Furthermore, the suction up is placed against the door and held to the door using a vacuum force at which point the door can be pulled open and the suction device can be released after use. The device further includes a strap cover which provides a protective surface to a user's hand when operating the device. Additionally, a tag fastener is coupled to a distal end of the suction cup and inserted through the strap cover and mounted to a top end of the suction cup. The tag fastener provides a accessible means for a user to unmount the device from a door surface by applying an upward force.

Anti-unlatched mechanism and a door lock thereof
11661763 · 2023-05-30 · ·

An anti-unlocked mechanism comprises a transmission gear, a sliding rod, a locking member and a first elastic member. The transmission gear includes an arc surface. An end of the sliding rod contacts the deadbolt of the lock body. The sliding rod is provided with a fixed stopper and a second elastic member. When the deadbolt is retracted, the sliding rod moves with the deadbolt against the elastic force of the second elastic member. When the deadbolt extends, the locking member moves with the sliding rod to block the rotation of the rotating part. The first elastic member comprises first and second protrusions. The second protrusion will not hinder the fixed stopper of the slide rod unless the first protrusion contacts with the circular arc surface, which will block the movement of the locking member to block rotation of the rotating part.

Methods and systems are disclosed that, in some aspects, provide an opening mechanism comprising an interior and an exterior door handle and sensors to detect movement of each door handle. A door position sensor may be provided. An alarm module for generating an alarm may be connected to at least one of the sensors. A method may include receiving a door handle actuation signal, determining whether the door handle actuation signal is from an inside door handle or an outside door handle and performing a function. One or more methods include determining an event, including an attempted entry, a forced entry and an incomplete entry.
