Twist latch for compartment door
A twist handle latch assembly is provided for use on compartment doors of a utility vehicle. The assembly includes a plastic housing with a steel backer plate to which the latch pawl is mounted. A T-handle is rotatably mounted on the front of a housing with a post extending through the housing and the steel plate for connection to the latch pawl. Rotation of the handle rotates the latch pawl between locked and unlocked positions. A power actuator may be provided to remotely lock and unlock the latch pawl. A key cylinder actuator allows manual locking and unlocking of the latch pawl. A cam connected to the actuator has a window to receive a portion of the pawl in the locked condition.

Overhead storage bin latch system
A aircraft storage bin latch system that includes a paddle button assembly having a button that is movable between home and actuation positions, a latch assembly that includes a striker assembly with a striker and a hook assembly, and a cable that extends between the paddle button assembly and the latch assembly. The hook assembly includes a hook, a pivotal trigger arm, and an indicator that is movable between first and second positions when the trigger arm is moved from an engaged position to a disengaged position. Movement of the button from the home position to the actuation position pushes or pulls the cable, thereby pivoting the trigger arm from the engaged position to the disengaged position and disengaging the hook from the striker. Pivotal movement of the trigger arm from the engaged position to the disengaged position results in linear movement of the indicator from the first position to the second position.

Force transmission device
A force transmission device configured to laterally displace a plane, such as a sliding door or glass, by joining with the plane and transmitting a lateral force to the plane. Once securely joined with the plane, the device forms a securely fastened, textured surface area enabling an object, such as a foot or hand, to laterally displace both the device and the attached plane. The device includes a base portion having a mount surface and an outer surface. The mount surface adheres to the plane through an adhesive portion. A cover portion may detachably cover the adhesive portion and be removed by a tab. A wedge portion having an apex end and a base end extends from the base portion to provide a surface for the object to apply a force on the device. The force is transmitted to the plane for lateral or pivotal displacement.
Anti-ligature handle and escutcheon for operating a lock
An anti-ligature handle and escutcheon for operating a lock. The handle and escutcheon are smoothly curved in all directions to eliminate hanging points and prevent suicide by preventing the attachment of a ligature to the handle or escutcheon. The handle is curved to allow fingers to be inserted behind the handle to pull on the handle. The handle is attached to a handle plate that slides behind an escutcheon plate portion of the escutcheon. Multiple ligature traps in the form of an inverted V are positioned in parallel offset rows between the handle plate and the escutcheon plate to prevent the insertion of a ligature around the handle and handle plate.

Lock core with recessed pop out knob
A lock core for a lock assembly is provided including a housing having a first end. An operating member is configured to move between a retracted position and an extended position. When the operating member is in the retracted position, the operating member is at least partially recessed within the housing. A control member is arranged within the housing and is configured to selectively limit movement of the operating member between the retracted position and the extended position. The control member is operably coupled to the controller via an actuator.
Swivel lock system with manual override
A swivel lock assembly with electronic and manual actuating means to unlock a handle thereby permitting access to the interior of the cabinet wherein the manual actuator can override the electronic actuator and vice versa. When in a locked position, the handle rests within lock housing such that the handle engages a blocker mounted within the housing. To unlock the handle, the blocker is manipulated by electronic or manual actuation such that the handle is no longer constrained and can be swung away from the housing about a handle pivot.
