Door lock systems and related methods of use are provided. A motor of a door lock system may be placed against a surface of a housing and a bracket may be placed between the motor and a wall of the housing. The motor may be secured in the housing by moving the bracket against the wall of the housing to retain the bracket and apply a force to the motor. A door lock system may include a mounting bracket configured to receive a housing of the door lock system and secure the door housing to an associated door.

Lock with Improved Locking System
20170275923 · 2017-09-28 · ·

The invention relates to a lock with an improved locking system, including a lock block attached to a support by means of at least two fastening screws, with a door arranged between the lock block and the support, the lock including grub screws screwed into the support, which project from the support by a length according to the portion of grub screw screwed into the support, such that the length matches a clearance between the door and the support.

Adjustment plate gauge insert and adapter for hands-free lock installation

A door lock chassis has a gauge insert that defines different dimensions corresponding to different door thicknesses. The gauge insert is positionable in the lock chassis in different orientations corresponding to the different dimensions used to align the lock chassis for different door thicknesses. Additionally, a door lock may include an anti-rotation assembly for preventing rotation of the lock chassis. The anti-rotation assembly may include a retention member that is secured to an inside hub of a lock chassis. As an anti-rotation member is displaced in a first axial direction along the inside hub to a mount position, the anti-rotational member may deflect resilient members of the retention member. With the anti-rotation member at the mounted position, the anti-rotation member may be in a frictional engagement with the previously deflected resilient members so that anti-rotation member is retained at the mount position.

EMBELLISHMENT ATTACHMENT FOR A DOOR LOCK
20170275915 · 2017-09-28 ·

A rose assembly for a door lock and a method of removably securing the rose assembly to a lock chassis. The rose assembly is secured to the lock chassis through the use of an intermediate spring steel attaching plate, which provides both a secure attachment to the lock and orientation of the rose assembly to the lock housing. A single spring plate with integrated retention clip features provides a removably attachable interface between the rose and the lock chassis. The spring plate includes a hook feature to provide positive retention of the rose that is independent of the spring clip features. Additionally, the spring clips are located to minimize the possibility that one clip deflects substantially more than another. The installation process includes inserting the hook feature into a slot in the chassis housing, and then snapping the clip features over the housing to seat and retain the rose.

System and method for assembling a door lock

A door lock assembly is configured for installation in a cross bore of a door. The lock assembly includes a lock housing including a disk portion having an outer perimeter and an inner wall extending from the disk portion and defining an annular space between the inner wall and the outer perimeter and a lock space inside of the inner wall. The inner wall is sized to fit within the cross bore and define an annular gap between the inner wall and the cross bore. A retention clip is removably attached to the lock housing and includes a retention portion that engages the cross bore to removably retain the lock housing within the cross bore without the use of fasteners.

Image mounting plate for a door

An image mounting plate is provided. The image mounting plate may be installed between a handle and an object supporting the handle, whereby an image on a front-facing surface of the image mounting plate is visible after installation. The image mounting plate has a void for accommodating portions of the handle that engage the object by way of a bore hole in the object. The image mounting plate has at least one elongated slot tangentially or semi-tangentially associated with its void. The present invention includes a placement guide for each elongated slot, wherein a head portion of the placement guide operatively associates with the elongated slot and a blade portion of the placement guide operatively associates with the bore hole of the object.

Method of Installing Door Hardware

A method of installing a receiving member for a latch assembly or strike assembly in a door or jamb. The receiving member including a base plate, a wall around the perimeter of the base plate, the wall extending substantially perpendicular to the base plate, and a flange extending outwardly from the perimeter of the wall distal the base plate. The base plate has an aperture therein configured to allow a latch to pass therethrough.

Keyless gate latch
11352815 · 2022-06-07 · ·

A keyless gate latch to selectively latch a gate to a post wherein the keyless gate latch comprises a keeper assembly including a keeper member having a keeper stop movable between a latched position and an unlatched position normally biased in the latched position and a latch assembly including an actuator lever rotatably between a latched position and an unlatched position at least partially disposed within a housing and including a latch stop such that when the latch member and the actuator lever are each in the latched position, the keeper stop and the latch stop when engaged with each other prevent the gate from being opened and when the actuator lever is rotated from the latched position to the unlatched position the actuator lever engages the latch member moving the latch member from the latched position to the unlatched position preventing the keeper stop from engaging the latch stop allowing the gate to be opened.
