20170172462 · 2017-06-22 ·

Embodiments of a smart mobility aid device may have sensors to collect, monitor, analyze and represent data including but not limited to activity tracking, biometrics and safety and emergency features. The activity tracking include number of steps, miles, and activity speed, user pressure on a device, activity types and analysis. The user biometric data includes but is not limited to blood work, blood pressure, blood sugar, heart rate, oxygen level/rate, ECG, EMG, muscle strain, humidity, UV, body temperature. Additional features include an emergency button, fall detection, warnings, and user pattern analysis changes. The mobility aid device is connected to other smart electronic device and/or the Internet using but not limited to Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and or/and SIM card. The device gives the user or/and caregiver live feedback about user health metrics and status using a data representation method.

A seat using a pair of walking sticks. A seat member is formed adjacent the top end of the walking sticks. The walking sticks are releasably attached to one another adjacent top ends of the walking sticks so that seat members together form a seat, and the walking sticks diverge from the seat to form a two-legged stool. Each seat member is pivotally mounted to the top end of the respective walking stick for movement between a deployed position in which the seat extends at an acute angle from the top end of the walking stick, and a stowed position in which the seat extends alongside the respective walking stick.

A fold-out accessory rest is for securement to a trekking or ski pole or tripod leg in a folded-up position and then easily deployed by unfolding the rest for supporting a firearm, scope, camera, or other accessory. The rest includes a rest body for mounting on a pole/leg, a strap-supporting flap rotatably connected at its lower end near a lower part of the rest body, and a rest-strap rotatably connected at a proximal end near the rest-body's middle part and at a distal end to the distal end of the strap-supporting flap. When the rest-body is deployed in its folded-out position, a firearm barrel or forestock or camera telephoto lens or other accessory may be laid upon the rest-body to steady the accessory for use.

PIVOT SHAFT ASSEMBLY FOR A FOLDABLE DEVICE
20250143423 · 2025-05-08 · ·

A pivot shaft assembly for a foldable device includes a base seat, a shaft member and a locking member. The base seat has a through hole and an engaging portion. The shaft member extends through the through hole, includes a fixed tubular piece with a radial hole, and is rotatable relative to the base seat. The locking member includes a locking portion movably disposed in the radial hole. The locking portion is movable through the radial hole to engage with the engaging portion to position the pivot shaft assembly in a locked state so as to prevent rotation of the shaft member relative to the base seat, and is movable inwardly of the fixed tubular piece to disengage from the engaging portion to make the pivot shaft assembly in a released state so as to permit rotation of the shaft member relative to the base seat.
