Door security reinforcement system
09790717 · 2017-10-17 ·

A security reinforcement system for a door assembly having a door frame with first and second spaced-apart vertical structural supports and a door hinged thereto has first- and second-channel base plates respectively mountable to the first and second vertical structural support. Pivotally attached to the first and second base plates, respectively, are first and second opposed pluralities of security arms which rotate from a retracted position to an extended position in which security arms of the opposed pluralities extend toward each other across a portion of the door, reinforcing the door when first and second actuator arms operatively coupled to the first and second pluralities, respectively, are rotated from a vertical position to a horizontal position and are releasably coupled together by a sleeve.

A door-locking mechanism is for locking a door of a cabinet with respect to a main body of the cabinet. The door-locking mechanism includes a supporting component being operatively mountable onto the door, a driving component being operatively moveable with respect to the supporting component between at least first and second configurations, and at least one transmission component being operatively moveable with respect to the supporting component between drawn-in and drawn-out configurations. The door-locking mechanism also includes at least one locking rod being operatively connectable to the at least one transmission component and being movable between disengaged and engaged configurations with respect to a corresponding catch-rod of the cabinet, in response to the at least one transmission component being operated between the drawn-in and drawn-out configurations respectively, via an operation of the driving component from the first to the second configuration.

HANDLE FOR A COMPARTMENT OF A LOW, MEDIUM OR HIGH VOLTAGE SWITCHGEAR
20220049523 · 2022-02-17 ·

A handle for a compartment of a low, medium or high voltage switchgear includes: a body part; a hand grasping part; and a lock. The handle is movable from a closed position to an open position. When the handle is in the closed position, the handle is not useable to open a door of a compartment of the switchgear. When the handle is in the open position, the handle is useable to open the door of the compartment of the switchgear. In the open position, the hand grasping part is positioned so as to be graspable by a human user. In the closed position, a transition of an active element in the compartment of the switchgear from a quiescent state to an active or potentially active state activates the lock. Activation of the lock stops the handle from moving from the closed position to the open position.

STRUCTURE OF LOCK

A structure of lock includes a core shaft, a swing arm, a push bar, and a keeper plate that are arranged in a lock. The swing arm is arranged at one side of the core shaft to selectively push or separate from a bolt. The push bar is arranged on an axle and has a top edge forming a notch. The keeper plate includes an elongate slide hole formed therein and an elongate positioning hole also formed therein and located below the slide hole. The slide hole is slidably fit over the axle and the positioning hole is slidably fit over a bar in such a way that the keeper plate is movable up and down along a curved path.

LIFT GLIDE DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY & LIFT GLIDE WINDOW LOCK ASSEMBLY & DUAL LIFT GLIDE DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY & DUAL LIFT GLIDE WINDOW LOCK ASSEMBLY
20170275916 · 2017-09-28 ·

Hardware for a lift glide door assembly and lift glide window assembly provides ease of opening with an operational opening assist that urges the door or window to an open position on operation of an opening handle. A lock mechanism actuates a lock pin, blocks opening gear mechanisms from operating and extends a security bolt for locking. A guide blade is provided for assisting the door during opening or closing operations.

CONFIGURABLE DOOR LOCK
20170275925 · 2017-09-28 ·

A lock for a door including a configurable lock function. The lock includes a removable and user accessible actuator which when removed from the lock disables a lock function, and when inserted into the lock enables the lock function. Removal of the actuator places the lock in a disabled condition in which the lock cannot be locked by other means. Insertion of the actuator into the lock places the lock in an enabled condition in which the lock is locked or unlocked by the position of the actuator. The lock is installed without the actuator when the lock is intended to be used only in a passage operation where the door provides access only, but does not restrict access. The lock is installed with the actuator when the lock is intended to be used in a privacy operation where the lock is intended to restrict access to an area.

Pick Proof Lock
20170241162 · 2017-08-24 ·

A tamper proof lock has a bolt with a retracted position and an extended position. A knob has a first position wherein a key operates the bolt and a second position wherein the key does not operate the bolt. A key plate is in opposition to the knob having a key slot. The knob has a locking collar attached to the shaft of the thumb knob. The locking collar has a locking orifice. A thumb knob plate has a locking pin that engages the locking orifice in the second position, wherein the thumb knob is pulled out from the thumb plate. This also stops a key inserted into the key plate from operating the bolt. As a result, bumping, picking, drilling the lock, or using an unauthorized key will be ineffective to open a door with this invention in the second position.

HANDLE-EQUIPPED LOCK
20170226771 · 2017-08-10 · ·

A handle-equipped lock. The lock comprises a latch bolt, a lock housing, and a release mechanism inside the lock housing. The handle includes handgrip, a spindle sleeve contiguous with the handgrip, and a polygonal shaped spindle, which has a part of its length inside the spindle sleeve and which is dimensioned to extend to an engagement with the lock's release mechanism. The shaped spindle, or a part thereof, is adapted to be manipulated inside the spindle sleeve between an unlocking position and a locking position. In the unlocking position, the shaped spindle extends to the lock's release mechanism and in the locking position it does not extend. The shaped spindle and the spindle sleeve are provided with locking means for securing the same relative to each other in said locking position, wherein manipulation of the shaped spindle is prevented. Alternatively, a continuous shaped spindle extends through the lock and the handle is capable of being manipulated relative to the shaped spindle between an unlocking position and a locking position.
