Electromagnetic Drawer Lock System and Method
An electromagnetic drawer lock system includes a fingerprint sensor module assembly; an outer shell assembly having a front opening, four sides, and a backboard; a drawer having a front, a back, two sides, and a bottom; an electromagnetic lock assembly; a lock catch; a sliding plate; a mechanical lock assembly; a grooved pulley; and a spring paddle assembly. A method of operation includes a user placing a fingerprint on a fingerprint sensor, the sensor capturing a fingerprint image; storing the captured fingerprint image in memory; capturing subsequent fingerprint images; comparing subsequent fingerprint image to images stored in memory; disengaging the electromagnetic lock upon successful recognition of captured fingerprint image; and engaging electromagnetic lock upon successful recognition of captured fingerprint image. A mechanical lock assembly can be used to open and close the drawer if using the fingerprint sensor module assembly is unsuccessful.
Handcuff with automatic over-tightening-prevention mechanism
The proposed handcuff in the invention employs an innovative locking mechanism, which stops further tightening of the handcuff when the force applied on the wrist of hand or ankle of foot is greater than 1.5 lbs (or any preset value), and prevents physical injuries from over-tightening without compromising the restrain. The handcuff is 50% faster in restraining by automatically locking instead of manually push-to-locking. The handcuff has the same shape/size/cost of the handcuffs currently used by police officer, and is compatible with current training procedure or SOP.
Lock
A lock includes a latch assembly, a first locking mechanism, a second locking mechanism, a linkage mechanism, a clutch mechanism, and a rebounding mechanism. The lock utilizes a first clutch member and a second clutch member of the clutch mechanism to coordinate with a leaning portion of an inner linkage member of the linkage mechanism to achieve that when the turned inner linkage member will outward push the first clutch member and the second clutch member away from each other to make the second clutch member rapidly and accurately be engaged with an outer linkage member of the linkage mechanism so as to make the outer linkage member to drive the latch assembly to unlock. The arrangement provided by the present invention that has the first clutch member and the second clutch member coordinate with the leaning portion of the inner linkage member simplifies the entire structure of the lock.
LOCK AND LOCKING DEVICE
A lock includes a lock housing, a cylinder assembly rotatably arranged in the lock housing and a locking keyless assembly connected to the cylinder assembly in a transmission way. The cylinder assembly includes a cylinder core and a tailpiece unit, a first clutch mechanism is provided between the cylinder core and the tailpiece unit, and a second clutch mechanism is provided between the locking keyless assembly and the tailpiece unit. When the second clutch mechanism is engaged, the locking keyless assembly is movable relative to the lock housing in a first direction under a driving of an external force for locking, and the cylinder core and the tailpiece unit rotate along with the locking keyless assembly. When the external force on the locking keyless assembly is withdrawn, the locking keyless assembly moves in an opposite second direction opposite, so that the second clutch mechanism switches to a disengaged state.

Systems for smart security
The present disclosure provides systems for smart security. The system may include a smart security device, a control module, a driving module, and a mechanical structure. The control module may be configured to send a control instruction to the driving module. The driving module may be configured to drive the mechanical structure based on the control instruction, thereby performing a state switching operation of the smart security device.

Keyless Insertion Locking System and Method
The present invention, in a non-limiting example embodiment provides a locking apparatus and method for securing locking hardware without the use of a key. In an example embodiment, the apparatus comprises at least a keyless insertion rotatable disk-style, barrel locking apparatus that, in a locked state can be inserted into a securing device without first unlocking, and then, thereafter, locking after insertion. In a nonlimiting example embodiment, unlocking and re-locking requires a key. The present invention, in an example embodiment, also provides features that allow the locking apparatus to enter and exit multiple apertures without requiring a key.
Lock and home appliance having the same
A lock and a home appliance having the same are disclosed. The lock includes a holder provided at one selected from between the cabinet and the door, a housing provided at the other selected from between the cabinet and the door, a first stopper provided at the housing, a fastening unit separably coupled to the first stopper so as to be coupled to the holder when separated from the first stopper, an actuation unit configured to reciprocate in the housing, the actuation unit being configured to be moved away from the introduction port in the state of contacting the holder when the door is moved so as to close the introduction port, the actuation unit being configured to separate the fastening unit from the first stopper while being moved away from the introduction port, a first elastic member for providing force necessary to move the fastening unit away from the introduction port when the fastening unit is separated from the first stopper, a second elastic member for providing force necessary to move the actuation unit toward the introduction port, and an actuation unit lock for fixing the actuation unit to the housing when not in contact with the door and releasing coupling between the actuation unit and the housing when in contact with the door.
