LEVER RETURN MECHANISM USING MAGNETS
A lever apparatus having a lever connected to a latch assembly operable to open the latch when rotated to a second position from a first position under an actuation torque. The apparatus further includes a magnet assembly with first and second magnets operably coupled to the lever apparatus. The magnet assembly is operable to generate a return torque in an opposite direction to that of the actuation torque such that the lever is returned to the first position after the actuation torque is removed from the lever.
LOCK DEVICE FOR AN ELECTRONIC LOCKING SYSTEM, ELECTRONIC LOCKING SYSTEM AND METHOD
Lock device (10) for an electronic locking system (126), the lock device (10) comprising an input member (12) arranged to rotate about an input rotational axis (16); an output member (18) arranged to rotate about an output rotational axis (22); an energy harvesting arrangement (26) configured to generate electric energy from rotation of the input member (12) in a first direction (28) about the input rotational axis (16); and a selective transfer device (54) movable between a locking state, in which the output member (18) cannot be rotated about the output rotational axis (22) by means of rotation of the input member (12) about the input rotational axis (16), and an unlocking state, in which the output member (18) can be rotated about the output rotational axis (22) by means of rotation of the input member (12) in the first direction (28) about the input rotational axis (16); wherein the transfer device (54) is powered by the energy harvesting arrangement (26). An electronic locking system (126) and a method are also provided.
Indexed sequential lock
A lock for actively locking an electronic device includes an engagement member that is movable by an actuator. The actuator moves the engagement member to the locked position with a first amount of power from the power source and from the locked position to an unlocked position with a second amount of power from the power source. The engagement member will passively remain in the unlocked position or the locked position.
Door floor anchor assembly
A bi-fold door is opened with a lift assembly having a plurality of straps attached to power driven lift drums. A latch assembly retains the closed bi-fold door secure to side columns of a building. The latch assembly has a latch strap attached to a latch drum that accommodates the latch strap to hold the closed bi-fold door in contact with the side columns of the building. A floor anchor assembly anchors the bottom of the closed bi-fold door to the floor below the closed bi-fold door to stabilize and inhibit bending and deformation of the bi-fold door frame.
Smart lock of bicycle
A smart lock of a bicycle includes a bicycle locking apparatus and a dock locking apparatus. The bicycle locking apparatus works with a key to lock the bicycle without dock, and the dock locking apparatus works with a dock to lock the bicycle to the dock. The bicycle locking apparatus includes a gear, a locking member, and a driving module. The locking member has a locking tooth portion, the driving module moves the locking member to engage and disengage the locking tooth portion of the locking member with an engaging portion of the key. The dock locking apparatus has a locking latch and a stop member. The driving module moves the locking member to let the stop member against or away from the locking latch to lock or unlock the bicycle to the dock.
ANTI-TORSION DOOR LOCK
An anti-torsion door lock includes a lock body having an outer chassis. An outer locking plate includes a threaded hole in threading connection with the outer chassis. The outer locking plate further includes two installation holes and at least one coupling hole which are disposed around the threaded hole. Two installation pegs are coupled with the two installation holes and are coupled to a door, preventing rotation of the outer locking plate relative to the door. An anti-torsion member is mounted around the outer chassis and includes at least one lug engaged with the at least one coupling hole of the outer locking plate, such that the anti-torsion member is not pivotable relative to the outer locking plate. The anti-torsion member is non-rotatably mounted to the outer chassis, preventing the lock body from pivoting relative to the door.
ELECTRONIC HANDLE DOOR LOCK EASY TO INSTALL AND USE
The present disclosure discloses an electronic handle door lock structurally which includes a rear handle, a front handle, a lock body arranged between the rear handle and the front handle, a clutch rotating rod rotatably arranged at an inner side of the front handle, a control circuit board installed on one side of the front handle, and an linkage square pipe penetrating through one side of the lock body and connected between the rear handle and the front handle, wherein the linkage square pipe is connected with the clutch rotating rod, one side of the front handle is provided with a battery case installing slot, one side of the battery case installing slot is detachably provided with a contact type battery case, and an inner side of one side of the battery case installing slot is provided with an electrically conductive plate electrically connected with the control circuit board.
LOCKING DEVICE WITH A CATCH ARRANGEMENT
The present invention relates to a locking device comprising: a locking bolt (12), a follower arrangement (30) comprising a follower arm (32) configured to rotate about a first axis (B) and also comprising a follower (31) that is configured to rotate about the first axis (B) in response to an activation, a catch arrangement (20) configured to block the follower arm (32) in a blocking state in order to prevent rotation of the follower arm (32), wherein the follower (31) of the follower arrangement (30) is operatively connected to the catch arrangement (20), wherein the blocking state corresponds to the catch arrangement (20) being in an end position of a movement path (P), and wherein the catch arrangement (20) is further configured to operate the follower arm (32) when not in the blocking state so that a movement of the catch arrangement (20) along the movement path (P) causes a corresponding movement of the follower arm (32).
Rotation converter
An exemplary rotation converter includes an input component, an output component, and an intermediate component engaged between the input component and the output component. The input component is rotatable from an input component home position in each of a first direction and an opposite second direction. The intermediate component is configured to move to an actuated position in response to rotation of the input component in either direction, and to rotate the output component in an actuating direction as the intermediate component moves to the actuated position.
Keyless Insertion Locking System and Method
The present invention, in a non-limiting example embodiment provides a locking apparatus and method for securing locking hardware without the use of a key. In an example embodiment, the apparatus comprises at least a keyless insertion rotatable disk-style, barrel locking apparatus that, in a locked state can be inserted into a securing device without first unlocking, and then, thereafter, locking after insertion. In a nonlimiting example embodiment, unlocking and re-locking requires a key.
