KEY BLANK AND KEY FOR ACTUATING A DISK CYLINDER AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SUCH A KEY BLANK AND KEY
A key blank for manufacturing a key for a disk cylinder having rotatable disk tumblers has a key shaft that extends along a longitudinal axis. The key shaft further has a plurality of notches that extend transversely to the longitudinal axis, that extend at equal spacings from one another, and that have the same depth. In a key, these notches may form chamfers of drive slopes for driving the disk tumblers.
Key, lock, and locking system
A key, comprising: a key head; and a key shank (10), characterized in that the key shank (10) includes a torsion section (20) that is formed, in particular cold formed, along a longitudinal axis (L) at least in sections, wherein the key shank (10) includes a base cross-section (26) in a transition portion to the torsion section (20), wherein a cross-section (30) of the key shank (10) protrudes at least in sections beyond the base cross-section (26) in the torsion section (20) in a direction towards the key tip (70).
Supply chain system and non-transitory computer-readable recording medium storing program
Various devices, methods, and media are provided. According to one of the devices, an unlocking request for unlocking a lock is received. The lock is provided in a container and contains a physical object. Information of a first owner, that has a right of ownership of the physical object, is acquired from a first ledger when the unlocking request is received. The first ledger is one of a plurality of distributed ledgers which each have a same content. The device determines whether the first requester matches the first owner, and causes the lock to be unlocked when the first requester matches the first owner.
Key, lock core and lock
A key, a lock core and a lock, relating to a key, a lock core and a lock are provided. The key includes: a column body, a first end of the column body being provided with a light emitting component; a first cathode component disposed on the column body and connected to one end of the light emitting component to be mated with a second cathode component in the lock core; a first piezoelectric electrode disposed on the column body and connected to the other end of the light emitting component to be pressed against a second piezoelectric electrode in the lock core. When the first cathode component is mated with the second cathode component in the lock core, and the first piezoelectric electrode is pressed against the second piezoelectric electrode in the lock core, a piezoelectric current is generated, to cause the light emitting component to emit light.

Electronic key reader for mechanical keys
An exemplary system includes a mechanical key and an access control device. The access control device includes a housing defining a keyway that has a fixed position within the housing. The access control device further includes a root depth sensor assembly, an insertion depth sensor assembly, a control assembly in communication with the sensor assemblies, and an electronic lock device. The control assembly is configured to determine the bitting code of the mechanical key based upon information received from the sensor assemblies, to compare the bitting code of the mechanical key to a lock/unlock bitting code; and to transmit a lock/unlock command in response to the bitting code matching the lock/unlock bitting code. The electronic lock device is configured to transition between a locked state and an unlocked state in response to receiving the lock/unlock command and without requiring rotation of the mechanical key.
Disarming surveillance systems for authorized persons
Deactivating one or more components of a surveillance system in response to authenticating an authorized person is disclosed and described. A method includes receiving an indication that an authorized user has unlocked an onsite device associated with a property. The method includes, in response to receiving the indication, deactivating one or components of a surveillance system installed at the property and storing a log comprising an identity of the authorized user and a timestamp when the authorized user accessed the property.
ROTATABLE MAGNETIC KEY COMBINATION ELEMENT
A key device (10) includes a generally elongate shaft portion (12), and at least one magnetic key combination element (20) disposed in the shaft portion (12), which is rotatable about a rotation axis (22).
Double bitted-reversible key plug lock
A lock has a locked condition and an unlocked condition comprising a barrel with a circular bore having three splines. A cylindrical plug is adapted to reside in the bore. First, second and retaining tumblers are positioned in tumbler slots, with the first and retaining tumblers biased in one direction toward the first spline and the second tumbler biased in the opposite direction into the second spline. When a first key is inserted, the first and second tumblers are moved against the bias so they retract from the respective splines and the plug can be rotated from the locked and unlocked conditions. When a second key is inserted while in the unlocked condition, the first, second and retaining tumblers are moved so the respective tumblers are either positioned in the third longitudinal spline or fully retained in the plug and the plug can be retracted axially from the barrel.
STORAGE CASE, AND VEHICLE LENDING AND BORROWING SYSTEM
A storage case for being provided in a vehicle includes a case body having a storage space for an electronic key; a first actuator to protrude into the storage space and pressing an unlocking button of the electronic key in the storage space; a second actuator; an adjustment piece for adjusting positions of the first actuator and the second actuator; a transceiver for communicating with an external terminal apparatus; and a processor to, in response to the transceiver receiving an unlocking request signal transmitted from the external terminal apparatus, cause the first actuator to press the unlocking button. The adjustment piece includes a rotating plate rotatably provided with respect to the case body; and, with respect to the rotating plate, the first and the second actuators being adjustable to become nearer to each other and adjustable to become farther from each other.
