INTERACTIVE SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF FOR CONTROLLING MULTIPLE REMOTE DEVICES
20170308191 · 2017-10-26 ·

Provided herein are an interactive system and a method thereof for controlling multiple remote devices. The method is executed by a portable navigation device to establish an interactive system including the portable navigation device, a host device and at least one controlled device. The portable navigation device, the host device and the least one controlled device communicate with one another according to at least one protocol. The host device receives an interactive interface provided by the least one controlled device. A cursor with respect to the host device is controlled by the portable navigation device. The least one controlled device corresponding to the interactive interface is controlled according to a motion of the cursor on the interactive interface to execute a function corresponding to the motion. Accordingly, the present invention achieves controlling the least one controlled device or transmitting data using the portable navigation device and the host device.

ACCESS DOOR ARRANGEMENT OF AN ELEVATOR SHAFT

An access door arrangement of an elevator shaft, wherein at least one elevator car is moving, includes a door lock, whereby in connection with the door lock a reset switch of an inspection mode resetting device is located, whereby the door lock has a lock part movable between a lock position and an open position and whereby the reset switch is integrated in said door lock to be operated by the movement of the movable lock part or a related movable part. This solution allows an easy resetting of the inspection mode of the elevator.

COMPRESSION LATCH

A compression latch assembly for latching a panel to a frame includes a housing assembly, a lockplug assembly, a handle actuator assembly, and a rotating pawl assembly. The housing assembly defines an exterior well and a first and second compartment. The lockplug assembly resides within the first compartment and includes a lockplug having a circumferential guide surface. The handle actuator assembly has a handle within the exterior well, a crank coupled to the handle, and a drive shaft coupled to the crank. The handle and the crank rotate about common pivot point within the second compartment. The handle is selectively captured and ejected by interaction between the circumferential guide surface and a locking pin on the handle. The rotating pawl assembly has a hook defining a slot that receives the drive shaft. Pivotal movement of the handle actuates the hook by movement of the drive shaft within the slot.

Locking Cover Assembly For Preventing Unauthorized Access To A Utility Shut Off Valve
20170284132 · 2017-10-05 ·

A security cover assembly for limiting access to a utility curb box, including an elongated security screw mounted to a cover member configured to cover a curb box to project down into the curb box and suspend a clamping disc movable up and down in the curb box by rotation in either opposite direction of the security screw by use of a specially configured key. A cutout on the clamping disc perimeter allows the clamping disc to be lowered beneath a conventional fixed flange projecting from a sidewall of the curb box and rotated into alignment therewith to thereafter be clamped thereto upon rotation of the security screw to thereafter prevent rotation of the cover assembly and removal of the cover assembly. Rotation of the cover assembly in the opposite direction to align a cutout in the clamping disc with the flange allows installation and removal of the cover assembly.

Key cylinder device

A key cylinder device includes a rotor resiliently mounting tumblers that are aligned by insertion of a mechanical key, a rotor case rotatably housing the rotor that is inserted in a direction opposite to an insertion direction of the mechanical key, and a cylindrical sleeve arranged around an outer peripheral surface of the rotor and fixed to an inner surface of the rotor case. The sleeve includes a hole that allows the tumblers to be disengaged when the mechanical key is inserted and to be engaged when the mechanical key is extracted.

An exemplary system includes a mechanical key and an access control device. The access control device includes a housing defining a keyway that has a fixed position within the housing. The access control device further includes a root depth sensor assembly, an insertion depth sensor assembly, a control assembly in communication with the sensor assemblies, and an electronic lock device. The control assembly is configured to determine the bitting code of the mechanical key based upon information received from the sensor assemblies, to compare the bitting code of the mechanical key to a lock/unlock bitting code; and to transmit a lock/unlock command in response to the bitting code matching the lock/unlock bitting code. The electronic lock device is configured to transition between a locked state and an unlocked state in response to receiving the lock/unlock command and without requiring rotation of the mechanical key.
