Disclosed herein is a door lock configured to indicate the lock status of the door lock to nearby persons. In some instances, the door lock includes a locking mechanism with one or more actuators configured to act directly on an indicator such that the indicator indicates the lock status of the lock.

A smart cable lock is provided that is configured to mechanically secure items and provide an automatic determination that securing is achieved. The smart cable may be integrated into a vehicle, or otherwise may communicate with a vehicle. The vehicle includes one or more ports configured to house the cable when not in use. In some embodiments, an accessory includes one or more ports configured to engage with the connector. In some embodiments, the cable is affixed to the vehicle at one end, using a retractor, for example, and can be unspooled, intertwined with equipment, and then secured to a port on the vehicle. The smart cable lock secures and releases a latch based on user indications and authorizations. For example, if the cable is destroyed or damaged, or an unauthorized indication is made, the cable lock system may sound an alarm, or otherwise alert the user.

The present invention relates to electric lock.

The electric lock has a housing with a lockable clamp for securing the housing to a cycle that is adapted to receive part of a cycle frame. A tethering connector extends from the housing having first and second ends; the second end of the tethering connector is fixed to the housing and the first end of the tethering connector is secured to the housing by a lock.

An alert means is provided in/on the housing. The tethering connector and the housing define an electrical circuit which is operative to trigger the alert means when the circuit is broken.

A lock monitoring device includes a detection unit and a plurality of sensors, where the detection unit is configured with a thin circuit board configured with a plurality of detection elements, allowing the detection elements to be connected in parallel with a circuit and then connected to a control circuit; the sensors are configured on parts of the lock such as lock tongues, rotating shaft and correspond to the detection elements; whereby, when the lock is unlocked and locked, the detection elements will detect that the detection elements depart from detection positions and send detection signals to a remote monitoring host, and the monitoring host monitors and records the number and time of the unlocking of the lock, achieving smart access control and further allowing the lock to be safer.

A system for securing a device having a case and a security feature integrated into the device. The system has a device security apparatus removably mountable on the device by the security feature on the case of the device. The device security apparatus may include a base element configured to mount on the device by releasably engaging the security feature of the device, and may further include a securing element removably mounted on the base element. The securing element may include at least one of a plurality of modules configured to interchangeably mount on the base element. The plurality of modules may include a mechanical connection module configured to physically connect the device security apparatus to an object, and a monitoring module configured to monitor movement of the device security apparatus and any device connected to the device security apparatus.

An adapter and interface permits a standard mortise lock to drive top and bottom latch mechanisms of a multi-point lock system. An actuator permits in situ adjustment of the top and bottom vertical latch projections of adjusting these projections while the door is hung in the door frame. An installation tool assists in the installation of the vertical rods in a door. A connector and carrier secures the vertical rods to the actuator and permits verification of retention of the rods in a multi-point latching system. A latch dogging indicator allows for end-user adjustment between a single-point lock and a multi-point lock system when desired. These different aspects may be employed in combination or separately with other locking systems.
