Package wrap
A merchandise security device is provided. The merchandise security device may include a housing operably coupled with a cable. The cable is configured to be extended and retracted relative to the housing and to at least partially surround an item of merchandise. The merchandise security device may also include at least one sensor operably engaged with the housing and configured to detect unauthorized movement of the housing relative to the item of merchandise. The merchandise security device may further include a lock mechanism configured to lock the cable about the item of merchandise.
Two-wheeler lock having an alarm function
A lock having an alarm function for a two-wheeler comprises a lock body and a securing hoop movable relative to the lock body between a securing position for securing the two-wheeler and an open position for releasing the two-wheeler. The lock body has a locking mechanism to selectively lock the securing hoop to the lock body in the securing position, and further comprises an alarm device for outputting an alarm signal. The locking mechanism can selectively be moved into an unlocked position, a locked position, or an alarm activation position, with the securing hoop being released for a movement into the open position in the unlocked position, with the securing hoop located in the securing position being locked at the lock body in the locked position, and with the alarm device being activated or being able to be activated by moving the locking mechanism into the alarm activation position.
Cable lock systems and methods
A smart cable lock is provided that is configured to mechanically secure items and provide an automatic determination that securing is achieved. The smart cable may be integrated into a vehicle, or otherwise may communicate with a vehicle. The vehicle includes one or more ports configured to house the cable when not in use. In some embodiments, an accessory includes one or more ports configured to engage with the connector. In some embodiments, the cable is affixed to the vehicle at one end, using a retractor, for example, and can be unspooled, intertwined with equipment, and then secured to a port on the vehicle. The smart cable lock secures and releases a latch based on user indications and authorizations. For example, if the cable is destroyed or damaged, or an unauthorized indication is made, the cable lock system may sound an alarm, or otherwise alert the user.
Wireless method and apparatus for remote lock operating with mobile communication device
Method and its enabling device for remote wireless micro-latching for security purposes, comprising at least one user or controller, one mobile communication device, and one secured device, whereas said user is enabled to open or close a micro-latch in said a secured device, for instant a safe box or a medical cabinet, allowing access to secured content, including money, ID card, checks, as well as medicine. Also disclosed is a multiplicity of said devices and their preprogrammed remote control by computer or mobile app. The micro-latching can be amplified to macro-latching, for instance by a micro-solenoid switching a high power electrical switch bank or relay, which in turn initiates industrial processes.
Two-wheeler lock
A two-wheeler lock, in particular a frame lock, wherein the lock is preferably at least partly drivable in a motorized manner, comprises a sensor for detecting different positions of an element of the lock movable along a defined movement path. The movable element here has a permanent magnet and the sensor is configured as a magnetic sensor. This magnetic sensor is furthermore configured for a three-dimensional magnetic detection to detect positions or movements of the movable element deviating from the defined movement path and/or to detect manipulation attempts by means of external magnets.
Electrical alarm and methods of making and using the alarm
A security tag including: a housing and circuitry which detects a locked state, the circuitry configured to execute a signal transfer function responsive to interchanging a pin and a lanyard in the circuitry, and/or the housing including a replaceable battery compartment locked by inserting either the pin or the lanyard into a lock mechanism which differently secures the pin and the lanyard; and an alarm, in communication with the circuitry, triggered by an undisarmed breach of the locked state.
Portions of a Device; Methods of Making and Using Them
A first portion of a security device, the first portion configured to have a separate state with respect to a second portion and a combined state with respect to the second portion, such that when in the combined state, the first portion is mated, interlocked, and/or locked with the second portion to collectively form the security device.
ELECTRONIC LOCKING APPARATUS
An electronic locking apparatus is disclosed, including a housing having a locking mechanism to accept a key. A cable is attached to the left side of the housing and extends to a first end including a locking base. The locking base releasably engages with a receiver positioned on the housing. The locking mechanism selectively engages and releases the locking base from the receiver. The cable is dimensioned to secure a toolbox to permit unauthorized entry thereto. An alarm system includes at least one audio element and at least one visual element and is in electrical communication with the cable to determine if the cable is tampered with. An interface is in operable communication with the alarm system to permit the user to select alarm instructions of the alarm system.
Transportable device for preventing a loss of a movable object
The invention relates to a transportable device for preventing a loss of a movable object, comprising a protective housing (2) for protecting the device (1), an electronic alarm device (35), which is arranged in the protective housing (2) and has an anti-theft alarm function, and fastening means (11) for detachably fastening the device (1) to the movable object, wherein the fastening means (11) comprise at least one wrap-around element (12; 46; 52; 59; 68) for wrapping around at least one part of the movable object and wherein the wrap-around elements (12; 46; 52; 59; 68) can be fixed by means of locking elements (19, 20, 21; 49, 50, 51; 55, 57, 58; 61, 63, 64, 65; 71, 72, 73), which are arranged in the protective housing (2), wherein the locking elements (19, 20, 21; 49, 50, 51; 55, 57, 58; 61, 63, 64, 65; 71, 72, 73) can be selectively opened and closed by means of a lock device (13) rigidly connected to the protective housing (2), and wherein additionally the protective housing (2) can be selectively opened and rigidly connected to the protective housing (2), and wherein additionally the protective housing (2) can be selectively opened and closed by means of said lock device (13) and access to at least one chamber (18, 33) in the protective housing (2) is thereby enabled.
Passive continuity monitoring device with active features
A passive continuity monitoring device is disclosed. This device can be used to protect a lock or other locking device and to indicate when a breach of the lock has occurred. The lock can include a connector with a magnet at one end spaced from an other magnet. The connector can be held in tension when the lock is engaged to maintain the spacing between the magnets. A breach in the loop of the system will cause the magnets to touch and complete a circuit. The completion of the circuit can trigger an alarm, can take a picture of the surrounding area, and can transmit a signal to interested parties.
