Fenestration automation systems and methods
A fenestration assembly including a panel, a lock assembly coupled to the panel, and an actuation system coupled to the lock assembly. The lock assembly includes a motor, a transmission driven by the motor, a sensing assembly, and a slide assembly that includes a rack member operatively coupled to the motor by the transmission and a drive bracket member that is slidable by the rack member between a locked drive bracket member position and an unlocked drive bracket member position.
Lock mechanism for objects movable relative to each other
A lock mechanism is configured to be arranged on one of a first object and a second object movable relative to each other. The lock mechanism includes a driving device and a locking member. The locking member is configured to be driven by the driving device to move between a first position and a second position in a non-rotatable manner. When the locking member is located at the first position, the locking member is configured to lock the other one of the first object and the second object. When the locking member is located at the second position, the locking member is does not lock the other one of the first object and the second object.
Key system
A key comprises a body with a head and a blade and a magnet in the head. The key can be part of a key set including a plurality of keys. Each key can have a hole through the head, for example through approximately a center of the head. The key set can include a hub through the holes in the keys, such that the keys are coupled by and are rotatable around the hub. The magnets in the keys can silence, and resist, index, and lock rotation of the keys around the hub.
Electronic Lock
A lock includes a cable configured as an antenna, a shackle pin connected to one end of the cable, and a lock body connected to another end of the cable. The lock body includes a channel for the shackle pin, at least one lock member adjacent the channel pivotable from an open position disengaged from the shackle pin to a closed position engaging the shackle pin, a retainer associated with a lock member driven from a released position disengaged from the lock member to an engaged position retaining the lock member in the closed position, and an electrically driven linear actuator driving the retainer to the released position in response to a signal received by a receiver via the antenna.
Vehicular Door-Opening-and-Closing Device
An embodiment vehicular door-opening-and-closing device includes a latch, a striker configured to be lockably fitted into the latch, and a magnet configured to maintain the striker in a state of being fitted into the latch. In an embodiment, the magnet has a magnetic force exceeding a repulsive force of a weather strip generated by compression of the weather strip, and the magnetic force exceeds the repulsive force in an initial operation of opening a vehicle door.
Electronic Lock
A cable lock includes a cable, a shackle pin connected to one end of the cable, and a lock body connected to another end of the cable. The lock body includes a channel for the shackle pin, at least one lock member adjacent the channel pivotable from an open position disengaged from the shackle pin to a closed position engaging the shackle pin, and a retainer associated with a lock member driven from a released position disengaged from the lock member to an engaged position retaining the lock member in the closed position.
Door assembly for selectively interlocking opposing doors
A door assembly for selectively interlocking opposing doors each pivotably mounted at a hinge side thereof to a door frame so as to both open and close in the same direction includes a door handle assembly mounted to one door at a latch side thereof opposite the hinge side and carrying a first plurality of magnets, and another door handle assembly mounted to the other door at a latch side thereof opposite the hinge side and carrying a second plurality of magnets. The door handle assemblies are arranged relative to each other with the first and second pluralities of magnets aligned such each aligned pair of the first and second pluralities of magnets have opposite magnetic polarities, and the aligned first and second pluralities of magnets magnetically couple to each other as the door handle assemblies are brought into contact with each other.
Surface mounted single solenoid electric strike
Surface mount electric strikes according having a housing with an opening for a door latch bolt. First and second opposing latches are movably mounted to the housing and operable to open or block the lack bolt opening. First and second keepers can be in the housing each of which is arranged to cooperate with a respective one of the first and second opposing latches to block or not movement of its latch. A single actuating device is also in the housing and is controlled by an electrical signal. It is arranged to operate on the first and second keepers and is moveable in the housing between two positions. One or more mode control screws can be included that engages the actuating device through the housing and are movable between at least two screw positions. The movement of the screw causing movement of the actuating device between its device positions, wherein one of the positions results in operation of the strike in fail-safe mode, and the other of the positions results in operation of the strike in fail-secure mode.
DOOR LOCK WITH ENERGY SAVING DEVICE
A door lock with an energy-saving device, comprising: an electromagnet assembly secured on the door frame, which has an electromagnet and a control circuit board, and an adsorption assembly secured on the door board, which has a positioning unit and an iron plate, a set of linkage sensing mechanism set on the electromagnet, and a set of clutch mechanism set on the adsorption assembly; Thereby, when close the door board into the door frame, the control circuit board supplies power to the electromagnet with the high current in the normal locking mode to attract iron plate, and then, the clutch mechanism drives the linkage sensing mechanism to act, triggering the control circuit board to supply power with low current in the power-saving lock mode to maintain the closed state of the door panel.
AUTOMATIC BLOCKING DEVICE FOR LIMITING A SLIDING MOVEMENT OF A FIRST STRUCTURE MOUNTED ADJACENT TO A SECOND STRUCTURE
A lockout device for selectively blocking linear movement of a movable frame member relative to a fixed frame member includes a lock tab pivotably mountable to the fixed frame member and having a contact surface configured to slidably engage a slide surface of the movable frame member when the lock tab has a first orientation, the movable frame member including a stop surface at one end of the slide surface, a holder for releasably holding the lock tab in a second orientation with the contact surface spaced from the slide surface, and a body mountable to the movable frame member and configured such that movement of the movable frame member in a first direction causes the body pivot the lock tab into the second orientation and movement of the movable member in a second direction causes the body to pivot the lock tab into the first orientation.
