Reception range varying system, vehicle control device, and portable device
A reception range varying system includes a vehicle control device and a portable device. The reception range varying system determines whether a position where the portable device exists is within an execution range which enables execution of vehicle control over the portable device, or within a reception range but outside the execution range, and narrows the reception range so that the portable device is positioned outside the reception range while maintaining the reception range at a size equivalent to or larger than the execution range, on the basis that the position where the portable device exists is within the reception range but outside the execution range.
SMART ENTRY SYSTEM
A smart entry system that releases a lock of an opening/closing body includes: a transmission unit that transmits a call signal to a mobile key by wireless communication; a reception unit that receives a response signal from the mobile key responding to the call signal; and a control unit that outputs a call signal transmission command to the transmission unit, performs authentication of the response signal when the reception unit receives the response signal, and outputs a command for unlocking the opening/closing body based on a result of the authentication. The call signal is transmitted by a polling system. The control unit includes an output strength setting unit that changes and sets an output strength of the call signal.
Door tracking system and method
A locking device that can be mounted into a rotating or swinging door is disclosed. The locking device can have a deadbolt. The locking device can detect the position of the deadbolt and/or whether the door is closed. The locking device can have a camera, microphone and speaker. The locking device can send images detected by the camera and audio detected by the microphones to a remote computer.
Construction Machine
A hydraulic excavator (1) includes a wireless authentication device (42) performing wireless authentication with a portable key device (41) and a vehicle body controller (39) allowing or prohibiting start of the engine (15) on the basis of authentication by the wireless authentication device (42) and an operation of a power switch (12). The wireless authentication device (42) transmits a request signal within an authenticable range and performs authentication when it receives an ID code for authentication replied from the portable key device (41) on the basis of the transmitted request signal. The vehicle body controller (39) allows start of the engine (15) by the power switch (12) when a gate lock lever (13) is switched to a lock position and the wireless authentication device (42) performs authentication by the portable key device (41).
DEADBOLT TOUCH PANEL FOR KEYLESS ENTRY
A touch screen electronic deadbolt includes a planar, exterior touch panel with a touch overlay for receiving tactile input for entry of an access code to engage and disengage a deadbolt. The touch panel is contained within a housing cavity of a rectilinear housing. A touch overlay rests above the housing cavity extending to the edge of the housing without the use of a bezel or frame, thus providing a sleek and low profile appearance. An interior escutcheon may be in communication with the exterior touch panel allowing a user to manually engage and disengage the deadbolt from within a dwelling.

Locking device
A locking device (40) including a first module (42) and a second module (44), one of the first module (42) and the second module (44) being attachable to a first face (22a) of a door panel (22) of an enclosure (10) to be locked and the other of the first module (42) and the second module (44) being attachable to a second face (22b) of a door panel (22) of an enclosure (10) to be locked, wherein the locking device (40) includes a mechanical locking mechanism (60) and an electronic locking mechanism (46).

SECONDARY BLOCKING MECHANISM FOR A LOCK SYSTEM INCLUDING A SOLENOID
A lock system for an enclosure comprises a locking mechanism selectively disposed in a locked or unlocked position. A first blocking pin prevents the locking mechanism from being moved to the unlocked position when disposed in a first blocking position via a first biasing mechanism. A solenoid mechanism imposes a force on the first blocking pin when in an energized state so that the first blocking pin is placed in an unblocking position. A second magnetizable blocking pin remains in contact with the first blocking pin when the solenoid mechanism is in an unenergized state. A second biasing mechanism biases the second blocking pin toward an unblocking position. During normal operation, the secondary biasing mechanism maintains the second blocking pin in its unblocking position so that the second blocking pin is separated from the first blocking pin when the solenoid mechanism is in the energized state.
