SLIDING PANEL LATCHING METHODS
Methods for releasably latching a sliding panel can include providing a striker coupled to a structure such that a sliding panel is movable relative to the striker, and providing a latch coupled to the sliding panel. The latch can be rotatable and include a striker interface to engage the striker, and the striker interface can at least partially define a striker opening to receive the striker. The latch can be rotatable to a latch position and to a receive/release position. The methods can include moving the sliding panel toward the striker with the latch in the receive/release position until the striker engages the striker interface of the latch causing the latch to move to the latch position where the striker is secured for striker opening of the latch, and causing the latch to move to the receive/release position facilitating release of the striker from the striker opening of the latch.
LOCK MECHANISM
A lock mechanism includes a pedal, a vertical rod, a rod support, a hinge, a hinge support, a hinge lock, and magnets. When the pedal is pushed up the vertical rod, the hinge will lower into a cavity of the hinge lock and the lock mechanism will be in a “locked” mode. To “unlock” the lock mechanism, the user pushes the pedal down the vertical rod, then the hinge will raise out of the cavity of the hinge lock and now the lock mechanism will be in an “unlocked” mode. Then when the user wants to lock the lock mechanism while being inside a bathroom stall, the user will align a door with a wall/stand of the bathroom stall and then push the pedal up so the hinge will lower into the cavity of the hinge lock and the lock mechanism will be in a “locked” mode.
Foot operated door opener
A foot operated door opener device that includes a pair of pedals near the lower corner of the door below the door knob/lever. The pedals are connected to a shaft that pivots within housings that are mounted to either side of the door across from one another. The pedal is hooked to a flexible strap or cable that runs vertically up to the knob/lever horizontal shaft. The cable or strap is connected and wrapped around the rotatable knob/lever shaft. As the operator depresses the pedal the cable or strap is pulled downward and rotates the knob/lever unlatching the door. The pedal is pulled or pushed by the operators' foot/shoe to open. Once the operator is through the doorway, the operator can close and re-latch the door by pulling or pushing the door pedal by foot without ever having to touch the knob/lever handle with their hands.
Deadbolt lock device and assembly
An assembly includes a frame and a linear actuator coupled thereto. A link, lever, spring (LLS) subassembly may be coupled to the frame and may include a short link, a long link, a lever, and a spring. A lockbolt subassembly may further be coupled to the frame. The lockbolt subassembly may comprise a latch, a bolt housing, and a lockbolt.

Cable operated mechanical locking external disconnect enclosure
A cable operated mechanical locking external disconnect enclosure for multi-point latch uses. The enclosures provide safety, in that, once the main enclosure door is closed, and the disconnect is turned on, the main enclosure is locked and only automatically unlocks when the disconnect is turned off. Thus, the door of the disconnect enclosure is locked when the disconnect or circuit breakers are turned to the on position. There is also a manual by-pass latch for each door.
Door Latch Device
A door latch operating device that is a safer door handle alternative to a traditional door knob or handle. This device includes a door handle offering numerous surfaces that a person can use to operate the door latch using his or her foot, elbow, knee or handy object such as an umbrella or handbag
LOCK AND CONTROL METHODS AND SYSTEMS THEREOF
The present disclosure provides a lock and a method and a system for controlling the lock. The lock may include an operation part, an action part, and a bolt. The action part may be configured to drive the bolt to move. The operation part and the action part may be connected to each other via a transmission connection. The transmission connection may be blockable.
LINEARLY DRIVEN ROTARY LOCKING MECHANISM
Disclosed is a linearly driven rotary locking mechanism comprising: a rotating lock hook (1), a rotating member (3), a biasing force device (5), a slider (7), turntables (9, 14) and a reset mechanism (11), the rotating shaft (4) of the rotating member (3) is secured with the biasing force device (5) and the biasing force device (5) can rotate about the rotating shaft (6) of the biasing force device (5), the turntables (9, 14) and the reset mechanism (11) are respectively capable of rotating about their respective rotating shaft, and the turntables (9, 14) and the reset mechanism (11) are designed for local contact with the slider (7), wherein the rotating lock hook (1) and the rotating member (3) can rotationally mesh with each other, and the slider (5) can linearly slide, and the rotary locking and rotary unlocking of the rotary locking mechanism are driven by the linear sliding of the slider (7).
Structure for Operating Striker Capable of Being Fastened to Door Latch Part
A structure includes a latch part to be mounted in a first door and a striker part to be mounted in a second door, the striker part including a housing, a movable unit to be connected to and movable in the housing, a striker mounted at one side of the movable unit and fixable by being caught by the latch part or releasable, and an operating unit for moving the movable unit, wherein the operating unit moves the movable unit in a direction in which the striker and the latch part become close to each other while the first and second doors are closed, and the operating unit moves the movable unit in a direction in which the striker and the latch part become distant from each other while the first and second doors are opened.
