Locking mechanism for container
A locking mechanism is disclosed. In one particular embodiment, the locking mechanism may include a hook component configured to be mounted onto an interior surface of a body of a container, a swivel component configured to engage with the hook component when the locking mechanism is locked, and a mount component to which the swivel component is rotatably mounted. The mount component may be configured to be mounted onto an interior surface of a lid of the container. When the container is in an upright position, the locking mechanism may be unlocked by applying an upward force onto the swivel component. When the container is an upside down position, the locking mechanism may unlock automatically.
Motor vehicle lock arrangement
A motor vehicle lock arrangement for a hatch leaf with a motor vehicle lock, including a catch for the interaction with a lock striker, pivotable around a catch axis, and a pawl with a pawl arm, pivotable around a geometrical pawl axis, wherein the motor vehicle lock may be brought into a primary closed state, in which the catch is in its primary closed position and in holding engagement with the lock striker and the pawl arm is in its primary closed position and blocking the catch in its primary closed position, wherein the motor vehicle lock may be brought into an open state, the catch is in its open position and releasing the lock striker and in which the pawl arm is in its open position, the motor vehicle lock may include an inlet channel in the form of a recess for receiving the lock striker.

Locking door handle for single-user washroom and latch therefor
Aspects relate to a door device configured to open, close, lock, and unlock a door in a hands-free nature, designed to allow a user to enter and leave a single-user restroom without needing to touch the door handle and/or lock with their hand. The door device includes a latch which interfaces with a strike plate, the latch shaped with two angled surfaces which allow a door to be opened and closed. The door device also includes an interior handle extending outward from an interior side of the door, the interior handle able to lock the door by abutting the latch to fix the latch in place, the interior handle designed to lock the door with a linear directional movement and to unlock the door with an opposite linear directional movement. The door device further includes a back cover extending outwardly from an exterior side of the door, the back cover including a status indicator which provides an indication of whether the door is in a locked state.

Pole support
There is disclosed a pole support for removably supporting a hollow tubular pole, wherein the pole has a latching recess provided along its length. The pole support includes a housing defining a socket that is open at its operative upper end for receiving the pole. A latch is located within the socket and is mounted on a pivot to be pivotally movable between a latched position and an unlatched position. The latch has a latching arm extending on one side of the pivot and a ballast arm extending on an opposed side of the pivot, wherein a centre-of-weight of the latch is located off-centre from the pivot in the ballast arm so that ballast arm normally biases latch under gravity into its latched position.

CABINET SECURITY SYSTEM
A process and apparatus for providing a cabinet security system is disclosed. The system includes a magnetic lock to be mounted on a movable cabinet panel and a catch that is mounted on a cabinet frame and configured to engage the magnetic lock to hold the cabinet panel in a closed position relative to the cabinet frame.
Door latch, lock and open mechanism for medical device treatment system
A latch and lock assembly includes a lever pivotable between a latched and unlatched position. A first actuator selectively moves a locking tab between a locked and unlocked position. In the locked position, the locking tab blocks pivotable movement of the lever from the latched position to the unlatched position. In the unlocked position, the locking tab allows pivotable movement of the lever from the latched position to the unlatched position. A second actuator selectively rotates a door opening tab between a first and second position when the locking tab is in the unlocked position is included. When the door opening tab is in the first position the lever is in a latched position, and when the door opening tab is rotated from the first position to the second position, the door opening tab abuts the lever and urges the lever from the latched position to the unlatched position.
Lock capable of locking movable door
A lock capable of locking a movable door includes a lock shell having opening parts, and hook tongues extending out of the opening parts. The lock further includes lock tongue support frames, lock tongue reset springs, left and right first guide grooves, and shifting blocks. The lock tongue support frames are movably disposed on the lock shell and combined with shaft pins. The hook tongues have lower shaft holes and rotatably sleeve the shaft pins via the lower shaft holes. Each lock tongue reset springs has one free end combined with the lock tongue support frames, and another one free end combined with the hook tongues. The left and right first guide grooves are symmetrically-arranged and correspond to the shaft pins. Two ends of the shaft pins respectively extending into the left and right first guide grooves. The shaft pins drive the hook tongues to move to be unhooked or locked when the lock tongue support frames move to drive the shaft pins to move along the left and right first guide grooves. Axial centers of the shifting blocks have center holes that allow shifting sheets to be inserted therein. The lock tongue support frames are able to move back and forth to respond to rotation of shifting handles on the shifting blocks when the shifting blocks rotate.
